Hello, wonderful people of this wonderful Hive world. How are you? Hope all is well. Me, long time no post here. I am resting myself from all the tough things I have been through. From the hectic schedule of work and in my life as a mother, to the hospitalization and passing away of my eldest sister. But life must go on, no matter how bad the situation we are in.
Even though I was in heavy heart because of a little conflict we had with my family, I still was able to attend I think it was the third onboarding orientation last Saturday. I felt happy that I could attend an onboarding orientation for the first time since it started here in our place. For hours, it made me forget my problems, seeing new and old faces 😂. Our community here is getting bigger.
The orientation was to be held at the residence of @naymhapz. Luckily my husband allowed me to attend the orientation since after it I will directly go to my father's house in Bogo City to settle some things. The venue is along the highway, so it is easy to get a ride after which was favorable for my schedule.
It was scheduled for 9 a.m., so I left home at 8:30 a.m. and arrived there at exactly 9:05 a.m. because I had to wait for the bus. When I stooped down the bus, I saw @naymhapz outside her house seemed busy preparing for something. I thought I was the first one to arrive, but I learned that @intoy.bugoy was already there at a very early time. Aside from him some of the Hivers who are @naymhapz's neighbors were there.
We stayed at the house of @naymhapz's mother and waited for the others. Then came @callmesmile, and later @jobeliever, followed by the other bloggers of whom I cannot recall their names/Hivenames, and made me realize that the Hive population is growing so fast. Or am I just already left behind from all the happenings? I felt like I slept for a long time and woke up with these new faces around me 😁. Came @indayclara and @ybanezkim26 , prepared and set up what was needed for the orientation. Minutes later and one by one came the others especially the invitees until we were all ready for the orientation.
Sadly, the one I invited did not make it for the reason of his work schedule but still, I was excited to witness how the orientation goes until the end. It started with introducing ourselves and saying something about HIVE which @naymhapz was the first one to do it. It was so nice to hear about the different amazing experiences in HIVE. Next to it was the presentation of Hive to the invitees by @indayclara, @ybanezkim26, and @intoy.bugoy. I enjoyed listening to them and getting some videos on the important parts/topics that I can use in times of sharing Hive with others. Until I realized that some of my colleagues were not inside.
I got out and there I saw them preparing our lunch 😁. So, I decided to join them and at least help them with the rest of the undone things.
When the orientation was done, they called us so we could have pictures together. I cannot enumerate each of us in the pictures because it's my first time seeing them, and I cannot remember their names/usernames 🤭.
After we took pictures, everyone went their way home and only a few of us stayed for lunch. Thank you so much for these generous Hivers who shared their blessings and prepared this sumptuous lunch we had.
I was not able to go with them on their visit to little Batanes because right after lunch, I directly went to Bogo City where I settled a few family matters. But those few hours were so precious to me, the fellowship, the food, seeing my friends in Hive, and witnessing how fast Hive World grows. Hours, when I had to smile and forget I had problems 😄.
That is all for this blog. Thank you so much for your time spent with me. Till next time, with love, mommyjane 😘.
