One of my favorite songs in general is Jose Mari Chan's Christmas song A Perfect Christmas, especially the following lines:

And so, I ecstatically joined the Hive Christmas Party Cebu 2023 last December 26, the first Hive party I have attended. Knowing that I could meet in person the people behind these amazing usernames and blog articles in Hive, this idea made me look forward to it. This is an opportunity I don't want to miss. Moreover, Christmas is a time of sharing, having fun, and creating lasting and happy memories - memories I will forever cherish.
SACAAN TROPICAL BREEZE REPORT
Sacaan Tropical Breeze Resort is situated in Sogod, Cebu. The resort offers a wide area where everyone can enjoy their stay. They have a swimming pool and a huge space where visitors can hold parties. And of course, this place gives us an unlimited view of nature, where the sky meets the sea.
THE SET-UP
The earlycomers were automatically in charge of the preparation of the decorations. Tables were set up. Balloons were placed artistically - aligned or not - as long as they served their purpose, beautifying the place. Hahaha. The gifts were ready. Prizes were arranged. All is set.
CHECKING OF ATTENDANCE
The attendee's participation was checked in a very creative and artistic way. Knowing how enthusiastic @indayclara is, she first graced the floor with her physique and poise, which the attendees should follow. And true enough, everyone showcased their Hawaiian attire in their jaw-dropping ramp performance. Indeed, Miss indayclara perfectly set the tone of the event.
And the winner for best in Hawaiin attire is @apieceofgwyn .🎉
GAMES
The game masters prepared sets of games for the attendees. They were eager to join and win because of the prizes - Hive T-shirts and chocolates. The games played were blowing of yellow plastic balls, Statue Dance, Trip to Jerusalem, and Yes-No. Aside from the most coveted prizes, the attendees shared the same amount of fun and laughter. Everyone is indeed MERRY!
GROUP PRESENTATION
The attendees are not only pro in writing, they are also blessed with talents. Since we could not say No to Indayclara's initiative on having a performance, we ended up having an impromptu group presentation. The performances were sing and dance and it was our group who won - effortlessly! Char! HAHAHAHAH Thank you groupmates @callmesmile @jobeliever @dehani515 @missleray ❤️
LUNCH
Food tastes best when shared with people close to our hearts. It wasn't just the heart that was full in today's event, but also the tummy.
MANITO-MANITA
A Christmas Party wouldn't be complete without the exchanging of gifts. It was Indayclara's witty idea of giving us codenames which she created for us that will be revealed in the giving of gifts. We were also asked to give at least 3 descriptions of our manito or manita based on their codenames and wishlists. The giving of descriptions was fun because some guessed it right, just like when I say that my manita is loving and loveable, and at the same, she gives the best kind of love in the world because she's a mother. Her codename is Mother Earth. She is @mommyjane ❤️
My codename is Boss Babe and I was described by Maam @marie.creates as a wife material. You're absolutely right, ma'am! I hope the universe is paying attention to this. Lol!😂🤦
Before the program ended, Miss indayclara and sir Kim gave their heartwarming messages.
INTANGIBLE: MEMORIES
If it wasn't because of this Christmas Party, I wouldn't have met these lovely bloggers. Inevitable as it is, we also have other priorities in life, so being together in one place seldom happens. And as they say, pictures preserve memories. So here are our group photos which will serve as a living testimony that once in a while, we shared this precious moment - we laugh our heart out - and wherever our feet lead us, we will always be reminded that we are a FAMILY.

This is seriously fun, I wish I could attend this gathering of a fellow hivers someday. Talagang everyone did a good job too in making it this more exciting, I want 5o experience that too. Sad coz I think I'm the only who knows hive in our Province, lol.

We were blessed because everyone didn't hesitate to participate the event regardless of the venue, because some travelled kilometers before coming here. Everyone was really supportive and yeah, we're making lifetime memories.
