Another set of teachers and individuals have said yes to Hive and blogging. That just simply means we have successfully brought Hive to other people's lives. Moreover, our family is constantly growing. Hive is thriving and continuously making an impact on one's life.
This is the second orientation I have attended and I could see the curiosity and excitement of this new batch of bloggers. I didn't have a face-to-face orientation when I joined this platform, as a result, I made sure to fill in those moments I didn't get to experience firsthand upon joining. So, here I am, attending once again the Hive onboarding orientation.
This orientation was made possible by the initiative of @selflessgem and @missjoyce. It was held at Kal-anan National High School, where they are teaching. It was participated by both teachers and students. Almost 15 participants or soon-to-be bloggers were present at the orientation.
The orientation was started by Miss @indayclara who gave a short description of blogging and how much she earned for five months. She asked @selflessgem and @missjoyce to share their thoughts on why Hive should be shared.
According to them, Hive has helped them improve their writing skills, it has become an outlet also especially for those who are introvert who preferred to ink their thoughts, and it also has helped them financially. Blogging has truly given us the purpose of our travel and everything we do. Almost everything now has become our content in writing even the simplest things.
Afterward, @indayclara then asked all the participants to introduce their names and give at least two hobbies. The participants were eager and with that short description of themselves, it was evident that they are interested and they had fun too. Onboarders and other teachers also introduced themselves, their usernames, and the length of time they have been in Hive.
In the middle of the talk, snacks were also distributed. Participants were handed pizza and coconut juice as their drinks.
@indayclara gave the floor to sir @ybanezkim26 and he intelligently explained everything about Hive, its history, and everything that encompasses it. As usual, he nailed it effortlessly.
Next, sir @intoy.bugoy shared his knowledge of peakd interface with @indayclara. They explained well everything about Peakd, how to form drafts, introduce the different communities, and everything essential in Peakd interface. It was just a little of an inconvenience when the internet connection didn't cooperate. Nonetheless, the speakers continued the orientation gracefully.
Meanwhile, one truly interested participant raised a few questions regarding blogging and sir @ybanezkim26 answered all the queries and clarified things. He doesn't seem to be running out of ideas in explaining things for beginners to comprehend well. Furthermore, since quality content was mentioned, @indayclara emphasized the do's and don'ts of blogging to achieve quality content, worthy to read and to upvote.
The orientation ended with a picture taking where everyone showed their most beautiful smiles.😊
And I was glad when these two lovebirds showed interest when I posted a not-so-lengthy description of Hive and what I earn. They are from Compostela, Cebu, and drove all the way here to attend the orientation and as of this writing, they are crafting their intro blogs already. Yey!😊
We also shared a sumptuous lunch with the mentors, onboarders, and teachers. Every food becomes special when it is shared by everyone. Thank you for sharing your blessings @missjoycee @selflessgem @ciadanmea @jobeliever @dehai @naymhapz and to everyone who exerted their effort and time in making this event a success.🤗
Seeing our family of bloggers growing has become one of the proof that Hive blogging has been a blessing to many. This platform is too precious not to share.
To more orientations in the future!🎉
