MY BADASS GUIDE TO BLOGGING MORE CONSISTENTLY ON HIVE... (Applies to me too)

in Loving HIVE ❤3 years ago

I'm not going to lie that there is one thing in my writing here on the HIVE Blogging platform that I battle with greatly – and that is blogging consistently.

However, if we take a closer look at the successful bloggers here on HIVE in your specialty, we'll notice that they have something in common. You just have to take a look at folks like @taskmaster4450, @ryzeonline or @theycallmedan

They blog consistently.

You know the majority of us set out with so much fire and enthusiasm, especially when we go through the profiles of successful bloggers. At this point, we are moved to churn out posts so quickly like a frying prawn cracker but very soon life catches up with us and we can't keep up.

So what happened?

Simply put, we wear out.

We tell ourselves, "I'm just seven days behind, I'll make up for lost time one week from now!" And before you know it, weeks turn to months, and your blog starts developing spider webs.

If you're as guilty as me, raise your hand🤡

Well, what I've come to learn is it’s never too late to become consistent. There’s still hope for all of us. And when I say us, I include myself. So, I will be listing how I plan to become a more consistent blogger going forward from now, especially going into the new year of 2022.

1. For starters, we need to first understand the reason why we're blogging.

The explanation can be pretty much as genuine as longing to construct your brand or as personal as making a name for yourself, could also be finance-driven.

Remind yourself why we're into blogging on HIVE every time we feel like giving up or starting something else.

This will without a doubt give that truly necessary inspiration we need to plunk down and finish our blogging goals for the day.

We can likewise record your principal reason on a piece of paper and keep it where you can see it day by day.

This will function to assist us with checking out your Blog with more seriousness.

2. Separate huge tasks/blog post into smaller ones.

It tends to be overwhelming assuming when you check out your Planner and see "Compose a blog post and publish today."

There is such a lot of that goes into composing a blog post.

Badass Tip: The way not to feel overwhelmed is to separate it into smaller tasks.
For instance, I will separate the "Compose a blog post" task into more modest tasks like:

  • Keyword Research
  • Settling on perfect long and short tail keywords
  • Drafting headlines
  • Create an enticing Introduction
  • Layout Post
  • Fully explore the post
  • Illustrations
  • Add links and sources
  • Web optimization
  • Alter and edit

In like manner, you can break any huge task or long posts into smaller ones. I now make use of a task management app like MICROSOFT TO DO to monitor everything.

So one can have many lists.

3. Spread it out throughout the week

Badass Tip: The simplest method for publishing content to a blog reliably is to make a timetable and afterward stick to it.

Mondays can be hell. You def. have to agree with me on this one.

Thus, I avoid the real blogging work like researching or composing and would rather accomplish light work like making comments, engaging people's blogs,s and making a couple of engagements for my best posts.

On Tuesdays, I research catchphrases and titles for my next blog entry. What's more, during the rest of the week, I will then work on the posts and do the needfuls to publish full and substantial blog posts.

4. Settle on a posting plan

It tends to be exceptionally enticing to publish more than 7 blog posts in seven days to help your traffic and probably your income.

But I advise one to stay away from this.

Since ultimately, you can wear out and not keep up. Along these lines, put a reasonable and realistic timetable at present and stick to it. Also, make a field-tested strategy so you can adhere to a system!

I presently distribute 4 posts per week or 5-6 of every fourteen days assuming the post is long and requires a great deal of time to compose. (This specific post took me about three days to compose.)

5. Keep all of your blog entry thoughts in a single spot

I for the most part decide my blog post for an entire period ahead of time.

This makes my work simpler.

Moreover, choose ahead of time what your next writing sequence will resemble.

Assuming you have 4-5 topics on a series, take a look at them and add posts in every classification that you will write in the following few weeks.

Besides that, settle on a source of inspiration for each post.

When you get what you need to achieve with your posts, composing posts that circulate the web rapidly turns into a simple lemon squeezy.

You will also not have to waste time coming up with a new blog post idea every week. I have found this to be one of the best blogger time hacks out there.

6. Keep an accountablity partner

Perhaps not necessary but since blogging could get a whole lot boring, it gets so easy to lose motivation when you don't have a writing partner.

Therefore you need someone with the same blogging passion as yours. You could easily find one that writes in your niche here at HIVE.
In any case, you can track down these individuals through other social writing platforms. Perhaps convince them to join HIVE😉 and you challenge each other.

Badass tip: The more confident you are, the more straightforward it will be to make friends on HIVE

What's more, once you have a couple of friends or partners, you can lay out cutoff times for your objectives and meet up at regular intervals to keep each other inspired.

7. Center a greater amount of your time around high-value tasks

If you take a very good look at all that you're doing to run your blog, you'll see that your blogging task can be divided into two – high value and low value.

In layman's terms, you devote a greater amount of your chance to the tasks that bring you nearer to your objectives and this will assist you with reaching your HIVE blogging goals faster.

If your main goal is making money through the HIVE blog, making more posts and scheduling them will get you more traffic (and hence more income), therefore this is a high-value task.

For such a person, replying to comments and adding friends might be a low-value task.

Get my flow?

Badass Tip: Making plans the night before, by listing your high-value tasks in your planner helps. Therefore, by morning, one is intellectually ready to handle them head-on.

9. A substitute procedure: Batching to save you a huge load of time

Switching between tasks can be extremely time-wasting and unproductive.

What's more, there is a little stunt I've as of late discovered that you can use to save additional time!

Badass Tip: I need you to attempt this useful hack called bunching. Suppose your major blogging task for Monday is to draft features for your Blog Post. Now rather than drafting these features for just 1 post, sit and draft features for your next 4-5 posts at a stretch

This will save you a ton of time and you will not need to repeat this specific task for each blog post of the month. You can utilize the time saved to zero in on other high-value tasks that will bring you closer to your objectives faster!

Isn't that a slick stunt?

You can express gratitude toward me...
I am becoming a GENIUS😁
