The journey may seem tedious but when you look at it bit by bit it became small, i could remember joining hive by this time last year, same second, same minute and same day, wow! as long as i could remember it was really a rough journey for me, you imagine when you had no one to mentor you and show you all that you needed to do on the platform, I was running from one frontend to another on the platform, trying to scale out my way and to get the answers I needed as they were so much questions on my mind, but who to asked and how to go about it, this was the questions I keep asking myself and which I didn't had an answer.
Therefore, one-day I was making a post and @brittandjosie came upon and instructed me to make an introduction Post of myself, she said that was first and foremost in the hive, wow! This was it, I think it was my starting point on the blockchain, although I did not get the publicity I needed but I think they was light afterwards, to @britandjosie thank you so much, you rock 💃.
Yet, that was not all, because I could still see myself in the platform as not getting the attention I needed, hive to me was becoming an ecosystem I have to think and think and think in the night time, it was more than a class room lessons, because I have to study each steps I make in the day time and used same for a better tomorrow, but was it all that easy? As human I do forget things, due to having too much on my mind to accomplish, so, i guess some times, I forgot about the steps and I would have to start the process whole again.
To cut the long story short, as time's goes on, I joined @ecotrain community, took part in the weekly contest of the ecotrain and that was the first place I could see light, Ecotrain community thank you for making me see light in the blockchain, my post in the Ecotrain community was voted and that was the first place I could receive curation and feel the powers of curation and how it feels to received votes on the block chain, It took me more than two weeks to understand that I should be making necessary tags related to my post and why is not necessary to used a tag that is unrelated to every post i make.
The awesome moment on Hive
Fast forward, I began to see more than I was expected on the block chain and I was so happy, for seeing the world in one screen, i now understanding each communities contests and the secret behind engagement, the more i engaged in the block chain, the more i see myself unveiling things that were lacking in my life and also the things I didn't used to know about the block chain, I began to see engagement as the number one thing in the block chain, it was through engagement that I was known in the block chain and I am saying thank you to the people that took out their times to read my post, give correction when necessary and support me with their upvote, reblog and Comments, I am happy, Thank you so much.
Happy one year anniversary on hive, it's such a great journey and I must commend your effort of sticking around despite not having a mentor.
