I have been one of the most active commenters on Steem/Hive and it has allowed me to connect with people all over the world. I really value comments on my own posts and will vote them up and/or give tokens such as !BEER. Just sending out posts without responses is not satisfying even if they earn some rewards. I do have the odd post that gets hardly any responses. Maybe I have not found the right audience and that can be part of the problem. I had hoped communities would help with that, but some are only used to fish for votes. I know some people are desperate for any votes, but if they engage with others they will get more out of Hive (votes and interaction). It should not be one way.
I hope this project can help matters.
That's what we sometimes find hard to understand (including myself). We believe that Steem/Hive is just about leaving your post and waiting for the vote. Obviously not, but we have a hard time processing it. It's like life, it's like a company, if we don't relate we won't be known. All of this is based on relationships, on interaction, that's why they are called "social networks", whether they are 2.0 or 3.0.
