Hello friends of #HiveForBangladesh thank you for the kind invitation to this contest which I didn't want to wait too long to participate and share with you my beautiful photos.
All my photos are from the same point, welcome to LA COCUYERA, it is a place that looks like a beach but it is not, it is a river, the Orinoco River in Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela, that when it goes down for these months, it shows a large esplanade with sand like the beaches.
And it is when many people take the opportunity to come to this place to admire the river that is a wonder either at sunrise or sunset even better where the sun gives us some unique colors.
But this time is to show you how was the 3rd edition of a competition that takes place in the river itself, as is the swim across it, in which swimmers come from other cities in Venezuela, of various ages from children to seniors and both genders.
The crossing must be exciting for those who swim as well as for those who go to watch the competition as my mother, my sister and I did, as well as for the family members who support their swimmers and the inhabitants of the city.
That the competition is done by groups or categories, which give them the rules before swimming, the route, that going is not so difficult because they go in the direction of the current of the same river down, but returning is difficult because they do it against the current.
Also in the water there is a lot of support with boats of the red cross, boats with life jackets, like those of the press, there is a lot of security I mean, but thank God there has not been any dangerous situation.
