Hello ! Awesome Community, fellow Hivers, and friends!😁😀🐝

Continuing Our Exploration of Necron Lore;
In our previous post, we delved deeper into Apex Predators: The Elite of the Necron Legions (https://ecency.com/hive-189497/@xenowolfza/apex-predators-the-elite-of)

Today we look at Immortals !

Lets zoom into the resilient and never-ending strife and battle fury of the Immortals.

"With a dozen legions of Immortals at my command, I could humble the stars themselves. One will be more than sufficient to crush your pathetic world."
— Imotekh the Stormlord, Phaeron of the Sautekh Dynasty

The Tireless Elite of the Necrontyr:

Among the ranks of the undying Necron legions, the Immortals stand as the ultimate elite warriors, the backbone of conquest and devastation. Once the favored soldiers of the Necrontyr empire, they were remade in the necrodermis shells that transformed them from mere mortals into undying executioners. Their tireless forms march forth with a cold, calculated purpose: to reclaim the galaxy for the Necrons.👽

Unlike the rank-and-file Necron Warriors, Immortals retain a measure of strategic thought and tactical instinct. While their once-organic minds have been digitized and shackled by obedience protocols, echoes of their former selves remain. The thrill of battle still lingers within them, and the satisfaction of annihilating foes is an unspoken pleasure buried beneath their unyielding silence.🤖

Wargear:
Immortals bring superior firepower and resilience to the battlefield. Armed with devastating Gauss Blasters, they are capable of stripping flesh, armor, and even tanks down to atoms in seconds. 💣🔫

Alternatively, some Immortals wield Tesla Carbines, unleashing arcs of searing energy that leap between enemies, frying them with every crackling discharge. Their enhanced necrodermis bodies allow them to endure punishment that would obliterate lesser beings, and their self-repair systems ensure that even death is only a temporary inconvenience.🔋😬

Tactics:
Yet, despite their might, Immortals are not infallible. Unlike living warriors who adapt and evolve their strategies, the Immortals rely on ancient, pre-programmed tactics. When faced with a battle outside their stored experience, they default to centuries-old maneuvers, applying the closest approximation rather than innovating. This rigid logic can be exploited, but few enemies live long enough to do so.📓😁

Never ending..:
Even as the galaxy changes, the Immortals remain—endless, unyielding, and relentless in their pursuit of war. As their Tomb Worlds awaken, they march once more, their ancient weapons scouring entire civilizations from existence. The Necron dynasties may have slumbered for millennia, but the Immortals endure, waiting for the moment when their masters decree the reconquest of the stars.
