Warhammer 40k - Nic Rorich paints Chapter Master Dante of the Blood Angels

in Tabletop / DND2 years ago (edited)

Greetings all. I'm Zak Ludick from Cape Town, South Africa. Ive been feeling a bit down and out for a bit.

Good thing I have some 40k content of my good friend Nicholas Rorich to cover! Recently in the lore, the Chapter Master of the Blood Angels chose to cross the Rubicon and join the ranks of the Primaris Marines.

As such, he gets a new model. He keeps his axe and his inferno pistol and his general look, but with a primaris style jump pack.

The beam now has the Beam Special rule and generally has gotten some better rules.

Nic plays Blood Angels and got himself a new Dante model! Have a look at his paint process and end result!

Grey undercoat.

Plus a gold coat since Dante is fully kitted in gold plated armor.

And then a fair bit of detailing, highlights and washes are done. I wont be able to pick out all the details myself. Have a look for yourselves!

Nic has done a fantastic job!

Thanks for reading!

Cheers!

Ooooooooooh! So shiny!

Really nice gold. 🏆 !LUV

Nice and clean paintjob! 👍

Right? Nic admits that this must be his BEST paintjob that he's ever done on a model!
