Fund Raiser - Helping a friend with funding for a Wedding!
This post is part of the current Fund Raiser where a friend has given me an offer to buy a collection of Warhammer models, the money will go to putting down deposits for his wedding arrangements.
After that I have two other hobby debts to sort out.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
The total remaining is $485!

Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!

Aeldari, Warlock Conclave
10th Edition Index
A Warlock Conclave is not a very large squad and they do moderate damage at short ranges. Their main use seems to be to act as a Bodyguard for a Farseer instead of only sticking the Farseer with Guardians.
You can have a unit of just 2 models for 55pts or 4 models for 110pts.
What is more pricey is that they cost $65 for 2 models...

They all start with Destructor(a psychic attack), a Shuriken Pistol and a witchblade. They can exchange witchblades for singing spears

2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S3, AP0 and 3 Damage each.
Psychic (This weapon has the psychic keyword)
Abilities
Protect (Psychic)
While a Farseer is leading this unit, when something targets them, subtract 1 from the Wound roll.
Warlock Conclave
Models in this unit have a 4+ Feel No Pain from Psychic attacks.
Thoughts
Right, so this unit offers protection in a fairly unique way... by being a small unit, you can hide them and the Farseer pretty well. When you cannot, then -1 To Wound and a 4+ Invul tends to help a lot.
The unit comes with fairly good anti-infantry shooting. Hopefully not too many survivors as they have a low amount of attacks.
At first I thought them a bit odd but they might be worth it just to make it difficult to wound a Farseer.
That makes 48 Aeldari Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 80% Completed. The total Completed is 25.21% Complete! Can I review them all?!
