Bracelet for myself

in Jewelry25 days ago (edited)

Hello everyone!
As a college student, I'm constantly juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities. Between attending classes, completing assignments, and studying for exams, I feel overwhelmed. I'm taking a full course load, working part-time, and trying to maintain a social life.

Some days, I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of textbooks, notes, and deadlines. I'll be sitting in class, trying to focus on the lecture, but my mind will start wandering to all the other things I need to do.

Despite the chaos, I'm trying to stay focused and motivated. I remind myself why I'm in college: to learn, grow, and achieve my goals. I prioritize my tasks, break them down into smaller chunks, and take breaks when needed.

Taking care of my physical and mental health is essential to surviving college life. It's not easy, but I'm determined to make it through. I'll take it one day at a time, one task at a time, and trust that I'll come out stronger and more resilient.

But today I decided to take out some time for bracelet making.

I cleared my desk, gathered my beads, threads, and wires, and got to work. As I started crafting, I felt a sense of calm wash over me.

So let's start making it .

Procedures:

Cut a length of cord long enough for your bracelet, leaving extra length for attaching the clasp. Attach the hook to one end of the cord and knotting it securely.
Thread on three small orange beads. These will go on both sides of the wire.

Add one sea green bead in the center and cross the two ends of the wire through it. This will form a cross pattern with the sea green bead at the center.
On both sides of the wire, add one bead of sea green.
Add one sea green bead in the center again, crossing the wire through it to create another cross pattern.

Thread one small orange bead, followed by one large sea green bead, and then one more small orange bead on both ends of the wire.

Continue repeating the steps from 2 to 6:

Add a sea green bead in the center to form a cross.

Add one sea green bead on each side.

Add one sea green bead for another cross pattern.

Add one small orange bead, one large sea green bead, and one small orange bead on both sides.

Once I reach the desired length for the bracelet, attach the hook or clasp to the other end of the wire.

Secure everything tightly with crimp beads or knots, ensuring there is no loose thread.Trim the excess wire. My bracelet should now be ready to wear!

Here's the final look of my bracelet when I am wearing it:

As I admired my handiwork, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. Taking time for bracelet making was exactly what I needed – a break from the chaos of college life.

I realized that making time for hobbies and passions is essential, even when life gets busy. It's a reminder that self-care and creativity are just as important as grades and deadlines.

I hope you all are like it.
See you soon.
