¿Qué Necesite? ⚖️🤍
⚖️Como casi siempre, primero realicé el patrón de la balanza en la aplicación Beadtool4
⚖️Los materiales que utilice hilo nylon para Delica y Delica Miyuki blanca y doradas
⚖️Utilicé una aguja de ojo grande para facilitar el enhebrado.
What do I need? ⚖️🤍
⚖️As usual, first I made the pattern of the scales in the Beadtool4 application.
⚖️The materials I used were nylon thread for Delica and Delica Miyuki white and gold.
⚖️I used a large eye needle for easy threading.
¿Cómo lo hice? ⚖️🤍
Iniciamos colocando en la aguja 22 delicas Miyuki cómo se muestra en la imagen. Para realizar esta figura de balanza aplique la técnica peyote.
Esta técnica realmente es muy versátil y le permite hacer diseños complejos y con bastantes detalles.
How did I do it? ⚖️🤍
We start by placing 22 Miyuki Delicas on the needle as shown in the picture. To make this scale figure I applied the peyote technique.
This technique is really versatile and allows you to make complex designs with lots of details.
Ya colocamos nuestra base que fueron las 22 cuentas entonces lo que hacemos es insertar en la aguja una nueva Delica, dejamos pasar la primera Delica y pasamos la aguja por la Delica siguiente, hasta que llegamos al final hasta que nos quede como una pequeñita (t) como muestran las imágenes.
Continuamos con el mismo procedimiento insertamos una nueva Delica en la aguja dejamos pasar una Delica y pasamos la aguja por la Delica siguiente y ya se va formando como una especie de muñequito como muestro en la imagen.
We already placed our base which were the 22 beads then what we do is insert a new Delica in the needle, we let the first Delica pass and pass the needle through the next Delica, until we get to the end until we have a tiny (t) as shown in the images.
We continue with the same procedure we insert a new Delica in the needle, we let a Delica pass and we pass the needle through the next Delica and it is already forming like a kind of doll as shown in the image.
Volvemos a repetir el procedimiento y formamos la siguiente hilera repetimos este procedimiento hasta que terminamos hasta el final y nos quede de esta manera, la segunda hilera del tejido vamos a llamar esta parte central como el esqueleto de la figura.
Básicamente la técnica peyote consiste en rellenar esos espacios, ahora lo que vamos a seguir realizando es insertar una Delica y pasar la aguja por la Delica siguiente y e ir rellenando esos espacios, Como muestra en la figura, seguimos, insertamos una nueva Delica y pasamos la aguja por la Delica siguiente este proceso lo vamos a ir repitiendo hasta rellenar toda la hilera como les muestro en la imagen:
We repeat the procedure again and form the next row and repeat this procedure until we finish until the end and we are left in this way, the second row of the fabric we will call this central part as the skeleton of the figure.
Basically the peyote technique consists of filling those spaces, now what we are going to continue doing is to insert a Delica and pass the needle through the next Delica and go filling those spaces, as shown in the figure, we continue, we insert a new Delica and pass the needle through the next Delica this process we will repeat it until we fill the entire row as I show in the image:
Pasó la aguja por la Delica del medio y me voy hacia la otra parte para hacer el mismo procedimiento y rellenarla toda la hilera
Realice una cara primero por lo que entonces necesito hacer un retroceso y para eso lo que hago es regresarme entre las delicas pasando entre ellas y luego salir por la última Delica que introduje para seguir entonces con el tejido de ese lado como muestra en la imagen:
I pass the needle through the middle Delica and I go to the other side to do the same procedure and fill the whole row.
I made one side first so then I need to make a backward movement and for that what I do is to go back between the Delicas passing between them and then go out through the last Delica that I introduced to continue then with the knitting on that side as shown in the picture:
Y así continuó con el tejido rellenando los espacios que están vacíos cuando llegue al final hago el mismo procedimiento hago retroceso entre las delicas para salir por la última Delica que coloqué y seguir el tejido rellenando los espacios aplicando la técnica peyote este proceso lo repito hasta terminar esa parte.
Para culminar la pieza lo que hago es hacer otro retroceso entre las delicas y me posiciono en la otra parte para seguir con el tejido y repito el mismo procedimiento para hacer la otra parte de la balanza.
And so continued with the weaving filling the spaces that are empty when I get to the end I do the same procedure I backtrack between the delicas to go out through the last Delica that I placed and continue the weaving filling the spaces applying the peyote technique this process I repeat it until I finish that part.
To finish the piece what I do is to make another backward movement between the delicas and I position myself in the other part to continue with the weaving and I repeat the same procedure to make the other part of the scale.

Es para un dije así que luego con un arito que realicé se lo coloqué y así queda está linda balanza:
It is for a pendant so then with a ring that I made I put it on and this is how this pretty scale looks like:
La técnica peyote es muy versátil es fácil de utilizar, aunque de preferencia utilizo Breack stitch, para mí la parte más complicada de la técnica es el inicio porque hay que estar pendientes cuántas delicas necesitamos, por dónde iniciamos, porque luego el tejido es mucho más fácil ya con el conocimiento que una tiene para ir realizando la pieza.
The peyote technique is very versatile and easy to use, although I prefer to use Breack stitch, for me the most complicated part of the technique is the beginning because you have to be aware of how many delicas you need, where to start, because then the weaving is much easier with the knowledge that you have to make the piece.
