Greetings friends. As you well know, I am making a Pokémon collection. Up until a few days ago I made a pretty cool Pinsir, which is one of the biggest I've ever made.

I've only made Pokémon, though. I also wanted to make a few more accessories, such as several pokeballs to hold some Pokémon and even a Pokédex.
Today, to start with these accessories, I started making a Pokeball keychain.

Step by step
As always I will show you the creative process of this piece. To start I will show you the materials I used, they were the following:
- Flexible dough
- Wire
- Glue
- Paint
- Tools: cutter, scissors, tweezers and paintbrushes.

Como siempre les mostraré el proceso creativo de esta pieza. Para empezar les mostraré los materiales que utilicé, fueron los siguientes:
- Masa flexible
- Alambre
- Pegamento
- Pintura
- Herramientas: cutter, tijeras, pinzas y pinceles.
The keychain itself is not that difficult to make, but it requires some practice to get it right.
For example, I started with a sphere of flexible dough. If you squash it too much it won't look good, so when making it you have to treat the material properly so that it doesn't deform and keeps its spherical shape.
Obviously it is not a perfect sphere, but we do our best to get it as close as possible.
El llavero en si no es tan difícil de hacer, pero requiere de ciertas prácticas para poder hacerlo bien.
Por ejemplo, comencé con una esfera de masa flexible. Si se aplasta demasiado no quedará bien, así que al momento de hacerla hay que tratar el material de manera adecuada para que no se deforme y mantenga su forma esférica.
Evidentemente no es una esfera perfecta, pero se hace lo posible para que se aproxime.
Next is to make a long line of flexible dough. This is to make the strip that has the pokeball in the middle. So after making this line without much shaping, I simply flattened it with a rolling pin. You can also use anything similar to a rolling pin to flatten it.
Lo siguiente es hacer una larga línea de masa flexible. Esto es para hacer la franja que tiene la pokeball en el medio. Así que después de hacer esta línea sin dar mucha forma, simplemente la aplasté con un rodillo. También pueden usar cualquier cosa similar a un rodillo que sirva para aplastarla.
Once it was completely flat, I used a ruler to cut it.
I placed the ruler on top of the flattened flexible dough and with the help of a cutter I made a line in the material. I did this from one side and from the other, until I had a well made and straight shape to place around the piece I had made before.
Una vez que quedó completamente plana, usé una regla para cortarla.
Coloqué la regla encima de la masa flexible aplastada y con ayuda de un cutter hice una línea en el material. Esto lo hice de un lado y del otro, hasta lograr una forma bien hecha y recta para colocarla alrededor de la pieza que había hecho antes.
Being a water-based material, the flexible dough can be glued with other pieces using water; however, I used water and glue to give better support to the union of these pieces. The strip I cut earlier was simply glued around the sphere, trying to make it as flat as possible around the sphere.
Al ser un material a base de agua, la masa flexible se puede pegar con otras piezas usando agua; sin embargo, usé agua y pegamento para darle mejor soporte a la unión de estas piezas. La tira que corté antes simplemente la pegué alrededor de la esfera, tratando que quedara lo más plana posible alrededor de la esfera.
After placing this strip of dough, I cut another much smaller and flatter sphere, which would go in the center of the strip I already glued. This would be the center from where the Pokeball opens.
Después de colocar esta tira de masa, corté otra esfera mucho más pequeña y plana, la cuál iría en el centro de la tira que ya pegué. Este sería el centro desde donde se abre la Pokeball.
As an extra decoration, I made other small spheres of flexible dough and placed hooks at both ends, so that I could make a small chain with these small spheres.
Como algo extra, para decoración, hice otras pequeñas esferas de masa flexible y le coloqué ganchos en los dos extremos, para poder hacer una pequeña cadena con estas pequeñas esferas.
Once all these pieces were ready, I started with the painting process.
As if they were Christmas decorations, I used the colors white and red to paint the spheres, two of each color.
Una vez listas todas estas piezas, comencé con el proceso de pintado.
Como si fueran decoraciones de navidad, usé los colores blanco y rojo para pintar las esferas, dos de cada color.
I also painted the pokeball in these colors, red and white; the center, on the other hand, I painted it black with a white dot in the center of the central strip.
La pokeball también la pinté de estos colores, rojo y blanco; el centro, por otra parte, lo pinté de color negro con un puntito blanco en el mismo centro de la tira central.
The last thing I did was to cover all the pieces with glue. After drying I put them all together.
Lo último que hice fue cubrir todas las piezas con pegamento. Al secar las uní todas.
This way the figurine was finished. Below you can see a series of photographs of the final result:
