Floral Clay Earrings

Floral jewelry is very trendy these days and girls especially like to wear it as a comfortable jewelry that goes with all kinds of dresses.

One of my cousins found some beautiful floral jewelry on Pinterest and sent me the reference to replicate it as she knows I make jewelry.

It was earrings made of clay. The earrings had a flower on side and also a life in the side of the flower. The design was looking quite simple for creating but still it was machine work and I'm just a human🙃. So i have tried to make same but still i have changed alot in my design to get perfection in this design.

So let's start making these beautiful earrings.

Procedure

I have started making this jewelry by first collecting the material and making a clay ball of skin colored clay.

After that i have used a flat box to make a plain circle of the balls i have made before.

After completing the base i have moved towards making the flower on base. I have though to use three shades of purple for making flower but later ended up with just two shades because there was really less space on clay circle for making flower.

First i have used green clay and made a small circle on the side with that green clay. We will make flower on the surroundings of this green circle.

First i have used light shade of purple. For making the patels i have made balls of light purple clay first and then pressed that balls with clay tools.

And after making the patels i have attached that patels on the base with the help of small pin. A needle can also work for attaching the patels.

Then i have repeated the step with dark purple clay and attached dark purple patels in the sides of the light purple patels i have attached before.

After completing the flower i have moved towards making the leaves. I have used the same green clay i have used before for making clay circles on the base. And then i have attached that leaves over the sides of the flowers of both earrings.
