Blessed day to all of you. Today I'm here to share with you this tutorial where I explain in detail how to make crochet earrings alluding to little owls. Personally, I love these little animals. I could make them over and over again and I have a collection of images of owl projects that I would like to make. But for now read on so you can make them too. All we need is yarn of two colors, a pair of hooks, a pair of small rings or two chain links and two pairs of beads to make the eyes. As tools we only use a crochet hook, scissors, a pair of tweezers, and optional bijouterie wire.	Bendecido día para todos. En lo personal, me encantan estos animalitos. Podría hacerlos una y otra vez y tengo una colección de imágenes de proyectos de búhos que me gustaría hacer. Pero por ahora sigue leyendo y para que tú también puedas realizarlos. Solo necesitamos hilo de dos colores, un par de anzuelos, un par de argollas pequeñas o dos eslabones de cadena y dos pares de cuentas para hacer los ojos. Cómo herramientas solo utilizamos ganchillo, tijeras, unas pinzas y alambre de bisutería, opcional.


We start with a magic ring of 8 stitches, I made this number of stitches because I wanted eight petals in the flower, but if we want a more lush flower, we can add more stitches in the initial round. In this case, I think that 8 is an appropriate number because I didn't want too big earrings, but this depends on the taste of the one who will make them or who will wear them. Next we pick up three chain in yellow and then two half stitches closed together, then one chain stitch. Repeat the same on each stitch of the row to form the eight petals.	Empezamos con un anillo mágico de 8 puntos, realicé este número de puntos porque quería ocho pétalos en la flor, pero si deseamos una flor más frondosa, podemos añadir más puntos en la vuelta inicial. En este caso, pienso que 8 en un número apropiado ya que no quería unos aretes demasiado grandes, pero esto depende del gusto de quien los elabore o quien lo vaya a usar. Después levantamos tres cadena en color amarillo y luego dos medios puntos cerrados juntos, luego un punto de cadena. Repetimos lo mismo en cada punto de la vuelta para formar los ocho pétalos.

In the next row we change to grey yarn and knit a row of single crochet stitches. One stitch in each stitch, separated by a chain stitch. Then we make a second round of gray, in this case we make two single crochet stitches and a chain. Cut the excess yarn and start the owl's eyebrows. We start with three chain stitches, a high stitch, a low stitch and three slipped stitches. Now we make the other eyebrow, and we repeat exactly the same but we start with the single crochet and finish with three chains.	En la siguiente vuelta cambiamos a hilo color gris y realizamos una vuelta de puntos bajos. Un punto en cada punto, separado por un punto de cadena. Seguidamente hacemos una segunda vuelta de gris, en este caso realizamos dos puntos bajos y una cadena. Cortamos el sobrante de hilo y empezamos las cejas del búho. Empezamos tres puntos de cadena, cuadro puntos altos, un punto bajo y tres puntos deslizados. Ahora realizamos la otra ceja, y se repite exactamente lo mismo pero empezamos con el punto bajo y terminamos con tres cadenas.

Seguidamente hacemos una segunda vuelta de gris, en este caso realizamos dos puntos bajos y una cadena. Cortamos el sobrante de hilo y empezamos las cejas del búho. Empezamos tres puntos de cadena, cuadro puntos altos, un punto bajo y tres puntos deslizados. Ahora realizamos la otra ceja, y se repite exactamente lo mismo pero empezamos con el punto bajo y terminamos con tres cadenas.


To make the eyes, we can choose to attach some details with bijouterie wire to some flat beads. I made two discs of 30 low stitches in the diameter to finish off the back and hide the remaining threads very well. This part is very important because it gives more consistency to the earrings. We join them by making slipped stitches all along the edge. We place the chain links and the hooks to finish this pair of earrings.	Para hacer los ojos, podemos optar por colocarle unos detalles con alambre de bisutería a unas cuentas planas. Realicé dos discos de 30 puntos bajos en el diámetro para rematar el reverso y disimular muy bien los restos de hilos. Está parte aunque no lo parezca es de mucha importancia pues da más consistencia a los aretes. Los unimos realizando puntos deslizados en toda la orilla. Colocamos los eslabones de cadena y los ganchos de anzuelos para terminar este par de aretes.

I think we could make the eyes a little more colorful, because in my opinion they don't contrast very well with the gray. It is something I will keep in mind for next time and these are things that I can appreciate when I see the photos, as in person they are much more noticeable.
