Esta pieza fue un extraño pedido que me hicieron hace unos meses, esto a veces me suelen suceder básicamente porque dentro de mi trabajo de joyería hago símbolos de distintas creencias espirituales y tradiciones mágicas, lo que ahora nos compete es conocer un poco sobre este símbolo:
Este sigilo aparece y es referenciado por primera vez en el Grimorio de la Verdad en el siglo 16 en Italia, es usado como un instrumento de invocación visual para llamar y obtener la presencia y poder de Lucifer, el portador de luz y sabiduría en la oscuridad; este símbolo representa la creación, la oscuridad fértil en la que se espera y está listo para las oportunidades, además encierra conceptos del equilibrio de la dualidad como masculino y femenino, luz y oscuridad; el elemento agua, elemento indispensable para la vida; el poder sobre el plano físico, el impulso de la sensualidad y la pasión. Antes de hacer los cortes y todo eso, es necesario hacer el diseño en la computadora, así que busque imágenes en Google y termine el dibujo al tamaño que lo iba a cortar usando Inkscape, ahora te cuento cuáles fueron los materiales y herramientas usados:
- Lámina bronce 0.75 mm, argolla de bronce 0,8 mm de espesor.
- Arco de segueta para joyería y sierra 2/0
- Dremel
- Fresa para abrir huecos de 0.75 mm
- Lija 260, 360 y 400
- Motor de banco, disco de tela y cera de pulir
- Pinzas de joyería.
- Lima
Proceso
Pego el símbolo ya impreso sobre la lámina, para esto lije un poco la lámina, use pega blanca, esparcí en la superficie y deje secar durante unos segundos antes de poner la impresión encima.
Abrí los huecos internos usando el Dremel y la fresa de 0.75 mm, estos espacios interiores serán los primeros donde se harán los cortes en teoría.
Empecé haciendo los cortes internos con el arco de segueta y la sierra 2/0. Pero la lámina era muy larga y se me incomodaba hacer esta labor, por lo que opte por el corte de la silueta.
Avance con los espacios internos, solo queda parte de la silueta por cortar, ¡no lo hice anteriormente porque necesitaba ese espacio que me sirviera para que la pieza resistiera la fuerza del trabajo de los cortes internos.
Avance corrigiendo con la segueta y lima los detalles, lije la pieza con lija 260, 360 y 400, para después pulir con cera en el motor de banco usando un disco de tela de algodón, para darle un acabado brillo de espejo. Por último le incorporé la argolla de cobre usando una pinza de joyería, el resultado es el cómo se ve en la foto anterior.
Este es el resultado final después de darle un baño de plata.

This piece was a strange request that was made to me a few months ago, this sometimes happens to me basically because within my jewelry work I make symbols of different spiritual beliefs and magical traditions, what now concerns us is to know a little about this symbol:

Before making the cuts and all that, it is necessary to make the design on the computer, so I searched for images on Google and finished the drawing to the size I was going to cut it using Inkscape, now I will tell you what were the materials and tools used:
- Bronze sheet 0.75 mm, bronze ring 0.8 mm thick.

Process
I paste the symbol already printed on the sheet, for this I sand the sheet a little, use white glue, spread it on the surface and let it dry for a few seconds before putting the print on top.
I opened the internal spaces using the Dremel and the 0.75 mm milling cutter, these interior spaces will be the first where the cuts will be made in theory.
I started making the internal cuts with the saw bow and the 2/0 saw. But the sheet was very long and it made me uncomfortable doing this work, so I opted for the silhouette cut.
Move forward with the internal spaces, there is only part of the silhouette left to cut, I did not do it before because I needed that space that would help the piece to resist the force of the work of the internal cuts.
Go ahead correcting with the saw and file the details, sand the piece with 260, 360 and 400 sandpaper, and then polish with wax on the bench motor using a cotton cloth disc, to give it a mirror shine finish. Finally I added the copper ring using a jewelry tweezer, the result is what it looks like in the previous photo.
This is the final result after giving it a silver bath.
