Cómo se acerca el día del padre, empecé a hacerle unas pulseras a los papis de la familia. Y está se la hice a mi cuñado porque va con su estilo y personalidad.
A él le encantan esas pulseras de piedras,ya que es fiel creyente de los poderes que da nuestra madre naturaleza, y entre todas una de sus favoritas es la hematita o acerina. Y como tenía estás, no lo pensé mucho y me puse a trabajar su pulsera.
Y me gustó mucho como quedo combinado con el hilo chino y con el nudo plano de macramé. Este es uno de mis preferidos en las pulseras de hombre.
As Father's Day approaches, I started making some bracelets for the daddies in the family. And I made this one for my brother-in-law because it goes with his style and personality.
He loves those stone bracelets, since he is a faithful believer in the powers that our mother nature gives, and one of his favorites is hematite or acerina. And since I had these, I didn't think about it much and I started working on her bracelet.
And I really liked how it was combined with the Chinese thread and the flat macrame knot. This is one of my favorite men's bracelets.

A la hora de hacer una pulsera para alguien especial, trato de sea única usando lo que le gusta o represente algo para esa persona, así que sé que está será del gusto de mi cuñado.
And personalized bracelets will always be a good option when giving gifts at special moments.
When making a bracelet for someone special, I try to make it unique by using what they like or represent something to that person, so I know it will be to my brother-in-law's taste.
Los materiales que utilice fueron los siguientes:
- Hilo chino color negro, dos hebras para la base de unos 40 centímetros y una hebra de color marrón de 10 centímetros para hacer el cierre corredizo.
- Dos esferas y dos cuentas ovaladas de aserina.
- Yesquero y tijera.
The materials I used were the following:
- Black Chinese thread, two strands for the base of about 40 centimeters and a brown strand of 10 centimeters to make the sliding closure.
- Two spheres and two oval beads of sawdust.
- Tinderbox and scissors.

- Paso # 01.
Lo primero que hice fue con e yesquero quemar y afilar bien las puntas de los hilos base, para que pudieran pasar las cuentas... pero como eran muy pequeños lo orificio tuve que utilizar una aguja y empujar las hebras.
Comencé introduciendo una esfera y haciendo un nudo simple.
- Step # 01.
The first thing I did was with the tinderbox to burn and sharpen the ends of the base threads, so that the beads could pass through... but since the hole was very small I had to use a needle and push the threads.
I started by inserting a sphere and making a simple knot.
- Paso # 02.
Luego dejo seis centímetros y hago otro nudo simple.
- Step # 02.
Then I leave six centimeters and make another simple knot.
- Paso # 03.
Después de hacer el nudo sujeto una hebra de unos cincuenta centímetros y comienzo hacer nudos planos... recordando que lo hacemos pasando el hilo derecho por encima de los otros hilos y el hilo izquierdo se pasa por debajo y sacándolo por el orificio y luego jalar y ajustar los hilos tejedores.
Y así repetir el procedimiento pero intercalando los hilos tejedores.
Step # 03.
After tying the knot, I hold a thread of about fifty centimeters and begin to make flat knots... remembering that we do it by passing the right thread over the other threads and the left thread is passed under and taking it out through the hole and then pulling and adjust the weaving threads.
And so repeat the procedure but inserting the weaving threads.

Después de tejer los nudos plano coloque las dos cuentas.

After weaving the knots flat place the two beads.
- Paso # 05.
Tomo el otro hilo tejedor y lo sujeto bien cerca de la cuenta y comienzo a tejer los nudos planos...los mismos centímetros del otro extremo y hago un nudo simple.

I take the other weaving thread and hold it very close to the bead and begin to weave the flat knots...the same centimeters from the other end and make an overhand knot.
- Paso # 06.
Dejo seis centímetros e introduzco la otra esfera de aserina y después hago un nudo simple para asegurar la esfera.

I leave six centimeters and introduce the other sphere of sawdust and then I make a simple knot to secure the sphere.
- Paso # 07.
Por último en este paso, corto y quemó todos los hilos sobrantes.
Y con una hebra de hilo de unos 10 centímetros hago unos nudos planos para hacer el cierre corredizo.

Lastly in this step, I cut and burned all the excess threads.
And with a strand of thread of about 10 centimeters I make some flat knots to make the sliding closure.
Y aunque son muchos pasos, no hay ninguna complicación en la elaboración de la pulsera, se hace en poco tiempo y el resultado fue el esperado.
And although there are many steps, there is no complication in the elaboration of the bracelet, it is done in a short time and the result was as expected.
