Today I am passing by to show you another of my crafts, because I always like to share with you those little creations that fill me with passion. This time, I present you a unique set, composed of earrings and a charm for a choker.

To carry out this craft, I chose to work with moldable foami. I love this material because it has characteristics that make the work much more comfortable and satisfying. It is noble, easy to mold, quick-drying and extremely light. Also, the best thing about this material is that, as long as it is fresh, you don't need glue to join the pieces together. This speeds up the process and allows you to make the most of every creative moment.Greetings dear friends of this creative #jewelry community. The interesting thing about this craft is that my inspiration came from a person I love and admire, my sister @lileisabel. She has a wonderful business called “Chocolates Alile”, in which she recently incorporated some exquisite donuts that, I must admit, became my main motivation to create this design. The result has been a fun and original set that evokes those delicious miniature donuts.

Materials I used:

Moldable Foami in blue, white, yellow, red, brown, black, orange and green.
Three rings with hooks.
Two hooks for earrings.
One choker ring.
One skewer stick.
Nail polish for the final finish.

Hoy estoy de paso por aquí para mostrarles otra de mis manualidades, porque siempre me gusta compartir con ustedes esas pequeñas creaciones que me llenan de pasión. En esta ocasión, les presento un conjunto único, compuesto por unos pendientes y un dije para una gargantilla.

Para llevar a cabo esta manualidad, elegí trabajar con foami moldeable. Este material me encanta porque tiene características que hacen el trabajo mucho más cómodo y satisfactorio. Es noble, fácil de moldear, tiene un secado rápido y es extremadamente ligero. Además, lo mejor de este material es que, mientras esté fresco, no necesitas pegamento para unir las piezas. Lo interesante de esta manualidad es que mi inspiración provino de una persona que quiero y admiro, mi hermana @lileisabel. Ella tiene un emprendimiento maravilloso llamado "Chocolates Alile", en el cual recientemente incorporó unas donas exquisitas que, debo admitir, se convirtieron en mi principal motivación para crear este diseño. El resultado ha sido un conjunto divertido y original que evoca esas deliciosas donas en miniatura.

Materiales que usé:

Foami moldeable en colores azul, blanco, amarillo, rojo, marrón, negro, naranja y verde.
Tres argollas con ganchos.
Dos ganchos para pendientes.
Un aro de gargantilla.
Un palillo de brocheta.
Esmalte de uñas para el acabado final.

First, I took the brown foami to mold what would be the base of the donuts. I used my fingertips to create a small circumference and flattened it slightly. Then, with the help of a skewer stick, I began to make the hole in the center until I achieved the desired shape. This step is crucial to give the donuts their classic look.

Primero, tomé el foami marrón para moldear lo que sería la base de las donitas. Utilicé mis yemas de los dedos para crear una pequeña circunferencia y la aplasté ligeramente. Luego, con ayuda de un palillo de brocheta, comencé a hacer el agujero en el centro hasta lograr la forma deseada. Este paso es crucial para darle a las donas su apariencia clásica.

Once the bases were ready, she finger molded the doughnut cream, using white foami according to the design she envisioned. I quickly placed this cream on top of the base to ensure that both pieces would stick together properly while the material was still wet and fresh. This detail gives the donut its appetizing and realistic appearance.

Una vez que las bases estuvieron listas, moldeó con los dedos la crema de la dona, utilizando foami blancos según el diseño que imaginaba. Coloqué rápidamente esta crema sobre la base para asegurar que ambas piezas se pegarán correctamente mientras el material aún estaba húmedo y fresco. Este detalle le da a la dona su apariencia apetecible y realista.

Then, I proceeded to make the dragee. For this step, I used the brightest colors of the moldable foami (blue, yellow, red, orange, etc.), forming small balls that simulate the dragees that usually decorate donuts. Carefully, and again using the skewer stick, I placed each ball evenly on the donut. This step adds a special touch and makes the donuts look even more striking and original.

Luego, procedí a elaborar la gragea. Para este paso, utilicé los colores más vivos del foami moldeable (azul, amarillo, rojo, naranja, etc.), formando pequeñas bolitas que simulan las grageas que suelen adornar las donas. Con cuidado, y usando nuevamente el palillo de brocheta, coloqué cada bolita sobre la dona de forma uniforme. Este paso agrega un toque especial y hace que las donas se vean aún más llamativas y originales.

Once the donuts were finished, I added the hoop earrings with hooks, which function as fasteners for each piece. The earrings are completed by attaching their respective hooks, ensuring that they are comfortable and functional.

Al concluir las donas, pasé a añadir las argollas con ganchos, que funcionan como sujetadores para cada pieza. Los pendientes se completan al colocarles sus respectivos ganchos, asegurando que sean cómodos y funcionales.

Finally, and as a finishing touch, I applied clear nail polish over the figures. This polish is essential, as it protects the donuts from external factors such as water and sweat. In addition, it gives them a glossy finish that enhances the texture and details of each figure.

Finalmente, y como toque final, apliqué esmalte de uñas transparente sobre las figuras. Este esmalte es fundamental, ya que protege las donas de factores externos como el agua y el sudor. Además, les da un acabado brillante que realza la textura y los detalles de cada figura.

Here you can see how the donut earrings turned out, along with the choker charm. I sincerely hope you like this set inspired by one of the favorite sweets of many. It is a simple craft but full of details that make the difference.
