Happy new and amazing new month

Using my flower shaped earrings made with wire .

Materials needed

IMG_20241027_141332_561.jpg

  • Binding wire or scientific wire
  • White pearl bead
  • 3 pens or pencil
  • Candle gum
  • lighter
  • Earring hooks
  • Scissors

The three pens or pencils can be substituted with any thing, preferably a round shaped item that has almost the size of the three pencils put together,

For some months, we've been experiencing power failure, so I couldn't use my candle gum machine, that's the main reason I used my lighter to burn a part of the candle gum before applying it to the beads.

How to craft the earring

Step 1

IMG_20241027_142821_209.jpgIMG_20241027_142956_174.jpg

Before anything, I had to bring out my materials like you saw above.

I used my scientific wire or binding wire as many people do call it, to wrap around the three pencils joined together (I made a total of 15wrap on the pencil)

Step 2

IMG_20241027_143028_584.jpgIMG_20241027_143151_809.jpg

I used a scissors to cut the wire after getting my 15wrap,
I removed the wrapped wire from the pencils,
Then I used the 15th wrap to wrap around the end of the wire thereby creating what looks like a knot at the head of the wrapped wire.

Step 3

IMG_20241027_143325_313.jpg

I spread the wrapped wire , making it look like a pumpkin or should I just say, something that is round.

Step 4

IMG_20241027_144547_172.jpg

I bend each of the round shapes of the wire ( slightly bend)
Thereby forming that flower shape.
But it isn't over yet, I had to used my hands to arrange and rearrange each circle to give me what looks like an oval shape or flower shape.

Step 5

Now is time to add my pearls, using a lighter to slightly burn my candle gum, I attached my pearls bead to the center of the wire.
This was to cover the rough edge and also to add beauty to the earring.

step 6

Now is time to add my earring hook,

I removed the spring round my earring hook, and added a white pearl bead ,then attached the hook to my earrings.

Now everything is done and ready.

Creating this shape wasn't that easy for me, as it was my first time creating something like these.

I made mistake two good times but still tried again because I loved the earring design (I got the idea from YouTube),
Thankfully I was able to make a similar beauty that I can rock to any occasion that I wish to attend🌞.

The flower-shaped earrings are very beautiful, it is good that you wait very well the wire, you can do it with a fabric and so you can smooth it, keep creating.

Thanks for the correction, I'll implement that next time

Is so lovely, happy new month to you too
