This quote reminds me of the importance of traveling. I don't want to note that I've read only a page of this book. That is why if given a chance or opportunity I must travel to various places in our country and even outside the country in God's perfect plan. So in this blog, I will be sharing with you one of my travels to another province in the Philippines. It was unplanned but according to Lao Tzu, "A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving."So this is it!
When we were in Leyte, we did a side trip travel. We visited the Biliran Province since the province is just connected by a bridge. Biliran is the smallest and the newest province in the Philippines found in the Eastern Visayas region. Its capital is Naval. Biliran is noted for agriculture since they have a wide space of fertile agricultural land area. They are also known for cultural heritage and tourist attractions since the province has a lot of waterfalls and beautiful beaches. As I've heard this province is a part of Leyte Province before but now it is already a separate province. The only province with no city yet.
It was mixed emotions when we were on the entryway to Biliran Province. We saw this bridge when we were in Leyte and when we reached the bridge it was an exciting feeling. While looking at the Bridges with the Signed Biliran Province, I can't imagine myself that I was there! Before that day, I said to them, that we would go to Biliran and visit their waterfalls even if it's already another province and it's out of the plan.
When we were on the bridge, we dropped off and saw the beautiful crystal-clear blue seawater. The two sides of the bridge look so fabulous because of the natural beauty of the sea and the green surrounding with a lot of trees.
As we continued our travel, going to one of the famous waterfalls, I realized that their main source of income was coming from a coconut tree since almost all of their land was planted with coconut. There's no barren land I've seen but all were planted but mostly were coconut. I don't even see s mountain being quarried for limestone extraction since their soil is soft and easy to erode. Therefore cutting trees and quarrying is strictly prohibited.
That's all for now and see you on my next blog for my next adventure in Biliran, Province.
😍😍😍
