We enter the magnificent Kenroku-en Garden, dating back to the Edo period, and the "Wow" effect is in full swing. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan, created in the 17th century.
Note: Kenroku means "the six combined," which represent the six attributes of perfection: isolation, space, artifice, antiquity, abundance of water, and a vast panorama. This garden undoubtedly meets these six criteria, offering a harmonious setting where every element seems to have been carefully thought out.
The cherry on top: the weather was perfect, with a clear sky and soft light, allowing us to fully enjoy this enchanting visit. The blooming flowers and winding paths invite us to contemplation and serenity—a true haven of peace where we feel transported back in time.

Nous pénétrons dans le magnifique jardin de Kenroku-en, datant de la période Edo, et l’effet « Waoooouuuuhhh » fonctionne à plein. C’est assurément l’un des plus beaux jardins du Japon, dont la création remonte au XVIIème siècle.
À savoir : Kenroku signifie «les six combinés», qui représentent les six attributs de la perfection : isolement, espace, artifice, ancienneté, abondance d'eau et vaste panorama. Ce jardin répond incontestablement à ces six critères, offrant un cadre harmonieux où chaque élément semble avoir été soigneusement pensé.
Cerise sur le gâteau : le temps était parfait, avec un ciel dégagé et une lumière douce, permettant de profiter pleinement de cette visite enchanteresse. Les fleurs épanouies et les sentiers sinueux nous invitent à la contemplation et à la sérénité. Un véritable havre de paix où l'on se sent transportés dans le temps.
