Another highlight of this visit to the Château de Fontainebleau. Encore un grand moment de cette visite du château de Fontainebleau. La Chapelle de la Sainte-Trinité est un véritable chef-d'œuvre qui incarne l'élégance de l'art religieux sous les règnes de la Renaissance et du début du Baroque en France. Construite sous Henri IV et richement décorée par les meilleurs artistes de l’époque, elle est le témoin des splendeurs de la cour royale. La chapelle se distingue par ses fresques sublimes, notamment la magnifique voûte peinte par Martin Fréminet, représentant une scène céleste qui attire le regard vers le haut. Les colonnes, ornées de marbres colorés, et les boiseries dorées ajoutent une impression de faste et de solennité.
La chapelle a été un lieu central pour les grandes cérémonies, notamment le mariage de Louis XV. Elle incarne l'esprit de Fontainebleau : un lieu de beauté, d'histoire et de spiritualité. Oui, c'était la grande classe à l'époque. De nos jours on a plutôt tendance à régresser qu'à progresser. Mais c'est un autre débat. A+
