DIY Ear Accessories (Jhumkas)

Today I decided to create earrings. I bought a paper quilling kit 8 years ago. After rummaging through all my cupboards, finally found it.
So I went to the market and got glue, paint & some decorative stones. It was raining but I was so excited to make this DIY that I went out without umbrella or raincoat.
I was suddenly feeling like a passionate jeweller on a mission to create some good stuff LOL

- White paper strips
- A quilling tool
- Black colour
- Stones
- Good mood :>
These are the basic things required.
After sticking stones to the quilled part, I gave dome shape to the base using this mould. Then applied a layer of glue inside-out over this dome.

Metal wires and decorative beads inserted.

After putting the ear piece in the wire, I twisted it with the help of pliers.

My photography creativity :)

This is my first post in the DIY Community
Today I learnt that it takes a lot of effort in creating something. I usually buy readymade things.

My gosh! people here are creating crazy stuff. Hats off to them.
Though I don't have a creative hand still I manage to make something once in few years, may be I'll do that more often now.

Nice pair of earrings you've got there. You've done good. Thank you for sharing your work with the community. You should watch out for your post formating though.
