Seasons greetings everyone. This is the month of December filled with love and a lot of celebrations are on going. Days ago a friend contacted me to get me informed of her coming wedding this December. I remain very happy for my friend because marriage is another journey of life and it's usually good for a woman to live her house to answer another man's wife. With such a good news coming from my friend I decided to make a surprisingly chin chin for her.
I'm making the chin chin too support my friend marriage. I know that chin chin is what is needed to welcome guests at their round tables. During a special occasions like my friend own chin chin is important because before the main events will start people usually get weak of sitting down and not doing anything but with chin chin guests can keep their mouth busy and as their eating the chin chin isn't usually easy to enter a conversation with other guests.
Materials to make the chin chin
Flour
Milk
Egg
Sugar
Baking powder( serving as the riser)
Nutmeg powder
Roller
Groundnut oil
Frying pan
Knife
Trail
Methods
Some people usually think the forming of chin is done with water but the truth is what's usually used is all the mentioned items and as they're mixed and rolled they'll surely become good for frying.
We'll bring out our flour and pour to a trail. We'll add eggs, milk, sugar and all the necessary mentioned items. We'll use our hand to mix the flour with other items so that they turn to become one. It'll take time before the whole items will become one, soft before ready for cutting. We'll not fail to add enough egg and milk so that the chin chin will be rich in health.
We have used our hand to mix the flour and the other items well we'll then use a roller to roll the mixed flour. It's the duty of the baking powder to help the mixed flour to increase in size and in weight.
We'll use our knife to cut the rolled flour according to the size and shape will wish to see our chin to appear.
We'll then put our frying pan on fire, we'll add groundnut oil and we'll allow the groundnut oil to get hot. We can then add out cut chin to the frying pan and allow for some minutes but we'll always use a turning spoon to turn so they don't get burned.
Wow,your friend is so lucky to have someone like you
Thank you for the love
Hello @agbogo it was so thoughtful of you to make chin chin for your lovely friend and we applaud you for that.
Just a little advice friend, the Diyhub community is a community for crafts, repairs, Metalworks, upcycling and so many others but not for food as we have a community on Hive for that already.
So next time you can make such content in the food community but in all, we are proud to have you as a member of our community😃
