En este día les traigo mi más reciente trabajo de costura, se trata de confeccionar un vestido cómodo, sencillo para damas que podamos usar en casa o simplemente combinarlo con unos lindos tenis y salir a caminar. On this day I bring you my most recent sewing project, it is about making a comfortable, simple dress for ladies that we can wear at home or simply combine it with some cute tennis shoes and go out for a walk. Materiales.

Tela del tipo que quieras preferiblemente usar de algodón o dry que estire.
Tijera.
Lápiz.
Cremallera.
Hilo y aguja.

Para iniciar, comenzaremos recortando la parte delantera y trasera del vestido. Tome una falda para marcar la parte inferior del vestido, luego con mis medidas marque y recorte la parte superior sin dividir la tela. Recortamos un par de estás.

To start, we will begin by cutting out the front and back of the dress. Take a skirt to mark the bottom of the dress, then with my measurements mark and cut out the top without dividing the fabric. We cut out a couple of these.

Este vestido lo pueden hacer de un solo tirante, pero yo quise hacer el mio de dos tirantes tipo escalera. Recorte un sesgo de tela negra para combinar esta estampada y cosi en la parte del busto y con la tijera hice pequeños cortes alrededor del mismo.

This dress can be made with one strap, but I wanted to make mine with two straps, ladder-style. I cut out a bias of black fabric to match this pattern and sewed it around the bust area and made small cuts around the bust with scissors.

Recortamos pequeños rectángulos y los cosemos, o simplemente cose una tira y luego la cortas. Estos trozos de tiras van entre los tirantes haciendo una escalera. Cosemos el sesgo incluyendo las pequeñas tiras.

We cut out small rectangles and sew them together, or simply sew a strip and then cut it. These pieces of strips go between the straps making a ladder. We sew the bias including the small strips.

Una vez que termine el busto, ahora voy a coser el borde de ruedo de sisa hasta los hombros.

Once I have finished the bust, I will now sew the armhole edge up to the shoulders.

Así es como debe quedar los tirantes del vestido. Lo más complicado del vestido son los tirantes pero con calma podemos lograr hacerlos.

This is how the straps of the dress should look. The most complicated part of the dress is the straps, but if we take it easy we can manage to do it.

También cosi unas pinzas justo por la parte axilar y busto para resaltar un poco.

I also sewed some darts right around the armpit and bust to highlight it a little.

Unimos la parte trasera y delantera del vestido cosiendo por los lados. Casi para terminar cosi pinzas por la parte delantera y trasera del vestido para que resalte la silueta ya que está tela no estira lo suficiente. Para terminar cosi el dobladillo.

We joined the back and front of the dress by sewing along the sides. Almost to finish, I sewed darts along the front and back of the dress to highlight the silhouette since this fabric does not stretch enough. To finish, I sewed the hem.

Este es el resultado final, es un bonito y fresco vestido que podemos usar en casa mientras hacemos las tareas del hogar, o como les dije antes si combinamos con unos bonitos tenis podemos salir a la calle con toda confianza, espero les guste.
