I bring to you the cutting and sewing process of this beautiful stylish double color scrunchie hair bow for my my outfit using pieces of left over fabric.

I have made this outfit for a very long time and looking through my bag for an outfit I was going to wear to an event on Saturday, I came across this outfit I have left for awhile without wearing it, that one thing about having a lot of outfit, sometimes you won't wear some for 1 or 2 years that was exactly what happened to this outfit so I decided to wear it to the event and thinking of how to bring it to life with an accessory, I thought of making a hair bow for my hair along the dress with the left over fabric, though it has been awhile since I made the outfit but I still have some pieces left to this hair bow since what I needed was just little piece.

Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process

I cut out a long piece of 20 x 2.5" for the elastic casing

It was folded in two and sewn together before it was turned inside out.

I cut out an elastic band of 0.5 x 7" and inserted it in the elastic casing while I sew the edges together and set it aside.

To make the bow, I cut out 5 x 5" from a piece of paper to make the pattern, it was folded in two in a triangle shape and folded in two again just as seen below.

I marked 1" from one side of the angle and cut it out.

It was opened and placed on the main fabric and the plain fabric to cut out same shape.

The two fabrics were sewn together on the wrong side leaving an opening where it can be turned inside out.

I trimmed off the edges, it was turned inside out and ironed.

I folded the two sides to the middle and run a long stitch through it to make a gather.

The thread from the hand needle was used to fasten it together.

The elastic casing was held together with the bow with a small piece at the middle with my hand needle and thread.

This is the final and beautiful outcome of my stylish double color scrunchie hair bow I made for my outfit, I hope you like how it looks on my wig with my outfit.
