Having a basic idea for a start is what I really like and appreciate, it makes me catch up real quick only if someone can volunteer to put me through the basic process, like the simple tools to get, the terms used, the logic behind every process and so on, then I can continue my learning online with the simple knowledge I've gotten but unfortunately, there is no one around here I know that can put me through these process. You are really doing a great job and love love most of your creativity.
Ok. I understand. To start you would need the basics: needle or crochet hooks and yarn. The symbology of the stitches and practice each one. You can also watch videos for beginners on the internet. I have some on my channel, in Spanish. Hopefully they will help you get started.
