Creating a parrot with national symbols

Hello, hive friends, @DIYhub community, I want to show you the craft that I do as an activity at my school.

For reasons of covid 19 here in Venezuela we are still seeing education from a distance, I and my classmates carried out a very nice activity this week. The activity consists of making a parrot or (kite) as many know it, where the most important thing is to share with friends and family this information that we all as Venezuelans should know, our national symbols.

The national symbols of our Venezuela are the flower, the bird and the tree, which are called the Orchid flower, the Turpial bird and the Araguaney tree. Although the three symbols are very beautiful and the one I like the most is the national tree because of its original color and how big it can be.

We started by making a kind of mural with the colors of the flag, then with the help of my sister, to have a little fun we used our hands as a tool.

With the help of my mother we went out to look for some sticks from a fallen tree in the street for our kite skeleton, with thread we tied all the ends, leaving the 6 ends well attached.

Remaining in this way we glue with silicone to the paper

My little sister helps me color the Venezuelan flag while I report the shield, the tree, the flower and the bird; we glued with the help of my mother for the hot silicone, all the cutouts for the kite

Thus leaving our parrot.

My little sister will help me give you a demonstration of what it looks like.

It was very fun to learn the national symbols of our country in this way. I hope you liked it there a lot.
