Greetings to my fellow creative friends, welcome to my blog once again and I hope all is well and you are doing great. The element water has always been important and one of the most essential element on earth, the element water has been a fascination to me, its power, sustainability and importance in our lives can never be undeniable. So I was at home today and was just feeling bored and as a creative enthusiast I decided to make something to pay tribute to this essential element water in a creative and innovative way by crafting a cardboard boat. This project not only showcased my creativity but also represent the element of water in a meaningful and symbolic way.
MATERIALS
• Cardboard (carton)
•Black embossed paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Ruler
• Adhesive
• Evostic gum
• Rope
• Scissor
STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
step I
Firstly, I cut my cardboard in a trapezium shape by the length 27.5 cm by 8 cm, after that I measured 10cm to the left and right of the longer side of the trapezium, I cut out the centre by half a centimetre and duplicated it as shown below:

Here I constructed the frame work of the boat by using my adhesive gum to gum cardboard together so it can Stand.

I then gum cardboard to the under of the frame work of the boat and I also gummed it on top also
step 4
Here, I then made the cabin of the boat using my carton or cardboard by the length 10cm by 8cm and another rectangle measuring 7cm by 8cm. I gummed these four (4) shapes together to serve as the room. Again, I cut a 13cm by 10.5cm rectangle to serve as the roof over and I also used my black embossed paper to serve as the windows of the cabin.

After crafting out the cabin, I then gum it on top of the boat.

I then continued with my construction and I made the sail of the boat using my cardboard or carton.

This time with the help of my rope and gum I then completed the sail and added and supported the mast with the rope, and lastly I then placed a flag on top of the boat.
With these steps, I have succeeded in crafting a cardboard boat and here's my final result
crafting a DIY cardboard boat to represent the element of water was a fun and rewarding experience that allowed me to express my creativity and tap into my imagination. This project reminded me of the importance of symbolism and representation in our lives, and the incredible things that can be achieved when we combine creativity, imagination, and a willingness to take risk.
