Today I bring you another DIY tutorial in which I will show you step by step the procedure to create a wall hanging in the shape of a house decorated with flowers and hearts. This craft, like many others I have done, uses recycled materials, which I transform into decorations using fomi modeling techniques.
I also want to take advantage of the community contest and dedicate this creation to all my friends who share their creations here, but I especially want to dedicate it to my wife @yale95reyra, who, like me, is very much in love with the world of crafts. So let's get to know the materials and then the creation process. Let's start...

Hoy les traigo otro tutorial DIY en el cual les mostraré paso a paso el procedimiento para crear un adorno de pared con forma de casa decorada con flores y corazones. Esta manualidad, como muchas otras que he hecho, emplea materiales reciclados, los cuales transformo en decoraciones utilizando técnicas de modelado de fomi.
También quiero aprovechar que el concurso de la comunidad está vigente y dedicar esta creación a todos los amigos que comparten sus creaciones por acá, pero especialmente se lo quiero dedicar a mi esposa @yale95reyra, la cual, al igual que yo, está muy enamorada del mundo de las manualidades. Así que pasemos a conocer los materiales y a continuación el proceso de creación. Comencemos...

Step by step // Paso a paso
1️⃣ The first step, and perhaps the most laborious, is to wrap the sheets of paper to form thin cylinders and then paint them matte black. By playing with the thickness of the paint, different shades of lighter colors are obtained, which give a rustic and antique look.
El primer paso, y quizás el más laborioso, consiste en envolver las hojas de papel para formar delgados cilindros y luego pintarlas de color negro mate. Al jugar con el espesor de la pintura se obtienen distintos tonos de color entre más claro, los cuales dan un aspecto rústico y antiguo.

2️⃣ Once the paper cylinders are dry, they will be glued in pairs and then cut in half. With four of these double cylinders cut out, a square will be made by gluing them together at the ends. The other two halves will have their corners cut diagonally and one of their ends will be notched so that, once glued at the top, they will look like the roof.
Una vez estén secos los cilindros de papel, se pegarán en parejas y luego se cortarán a la mitad. Con cuatro de estos cilindros dobles recortados se hará un cuadrado pegándolos por las puntas. A otras dos mitades se les cortarán en diagonal las esquinas y en uno de sus extremos se le hará una muesca para que, una vez pegados en la parte superior, queden como el techo.

3️⃣ With the flower-shaped metal cutting dies, we will cut out several pieces of dark green and light green leaves. The dark green leaves will be glued according to the layout shown below, while the light green leaves will be left for later.
Con los troqueles de corte metálico con forma de flor, recortaremos varias piezas de hojas verdes oscuras y verdes claras. Las hojas oscuras verdes se pegarán según la distribución que muestro a continuación, mientras que las verdes claras quedarán para más adelante.

4️⃣ Then we will cut out the flowers using the metal dies. We will use 3 types of flowers of five petals each, but of different sizes and shapes. We will also use 4 yellow pistils for the larger flowers.
A continuación recortaremos las flores utilizando los troqueles metálicos. Se emplearán 3 tipos de flores de cinco pétalos cada una, pero de distintos tamaños y formas. También se utilizarán 4 pistilos amarillos para las flores más grandes.

5️⃣ Each of the flower parts will undergo a thermoforming process to give it shape and volume. The largest flowers will have a yellow pistil in the middle, while the medium ones will have a small flower cut out with the hole punch. The third and smallest ones will only have a white dot with stripes in the center.
Cada una de las partes florales serán sometidas a un proceso de termo formación para darle forma y volumen. Las flores más grandes llevarán un pistilo amarillo en el medio, mientras que las medianas llevarán una pequeña flor recortada con la perforadora. Las terceras y más pequeñas solo llevarán un punto blanco con rayas en el centro.

6️⃣ When I had all the flowers ready, I began to glue them around the edge of the house, starting with the largest ones, which I placed just above the junction of the dark green leaves that I had previously glued. Between each of these large flowers, I placed the medium ones, leaving a space in between for the smaller ones.
Cuando ya tenía todas las flores listas, empecé a pegarlas en el borde de la casa, empezando por las más grandes, las cuales situé justo encima de la unión de las hojas verdes oscuras que había pegado anteriormente. Entre cada una de estas flores grandes, coloqué las medianas, dejando un espacio intermedio para las más pequeñas.

7️⃣ Finally, I used the heart-shaped hole punch to cut out several pieces of frosted red, which I glued all over the exposed frame of the house, but not before filling in the flowered parts with the light green leaves that I had left over from a previous step.
Para finalizar, utilicé la perforadora con forma de corazón para recortar varias piezas de color rojo escarchado, las cuales pegué por todo el marco de la casa que quedó al descubierto, no sin antes rellenar las partes floreadas con las hojas verdes claro que me habían sobrado en un paso anterior.
