A craft for my brother

in DIYHub2 days ago

Hello members of @diyhub community, welcome you all to my blog and today I am delighted to share with us all how I made this cute snowman.

Schools have resume and academic activities began as well. My little brother came back home with his art and craft homework where they were asked to create specific characters each with what to do. His teacher asked him to create a snowman. You needed to see my brother's face like he was asked to build a house from scratch so he pleaded with me to help him and I did agree. 😂 After I finished, he took it to school and including his teacher and classmates loved it so satisfying to me.

To begin with the Snowman, these were the materials I used:

  • Cardboards
  • Glue
  • Pen
  • Compass
  • Rule
  • Colors ( red, black and orange)
  • Scissor

PROCEDURES

To begin, I first set my pen to compass, with the aid of a rule measured 8cm wide the body of snow man and 7cm for the head.

After that I proceeded to cut out five heart shape followed by his tie, three button, nose and eyes.

I then went ahead to color, I colored the nose orange, his tie red, eyes black and his three button black too.

I also went ahead to just add little detailing on the tie by gluing little cuts of white cardboard on it.

When all that was done, I proceeded to cutting out the frame on which I will be place all which the measurements was length 28 cm, it's wideness 22.5cm and then cut out of which I used blue color for it.

Next thing was to place all the parts together, starting from the body which I used glue to hold it firm on the frame followed by the head and tie, button, nose and eyes.

Lastly was to attach the heart shapes and my brother's craft of snowman was ready.

Thank you for your time, peace 🕊️
