A DIY paper boat ⛵

in DIYHublast month (edited)

Hi everyone!

A ship and Water Day are connected because ships rely on water to operate, and Water Day highlights the importance of water resources. Ships transport goods and people across oceans, rivers, and lakes, demonstrating humanity’s dependence on water for trade, travel, and survival. Water Day raises awareness about conserving and protecting water bodies, which are essential for marine life and safe navigation. Pollution and climate change threaten both water quality and shipping routes. Sustainable water management ensures ships can continue operating efficiently while preserving aquatic ecosystems. This link emphasizes the need for responsible water use and maritime practices. How are you all? Hope you all are doing great. Today, I am here to share my craft with all of you. @DIYHub announced a contest related to Water Day. So, I decided to participate in it. But I don't have an idea what should I made for it. But then, I decided to make a ship. So, this is my participation in this contest #DIYWATER.

So, I decided to make it. I made this with simple materials. So let's move towards the procedure.

Materials required:

Colored papers of your choice
Glue gun
Scissors

Step-by-step procedure:

First, I took the blue paper and folded it in half. Then, I took one part and again folded it. After that, I folded its corners.

After that, I again folded the corners and then folded the middle part. And repeated the same process on the other side. Then, I opened it to make the shape of the ship.

Then, I took a paper of dark green shade. And cut it into wide strips. And start folding it from one side to make it in the shape of the stick.

Then, I took the paper of a light green shade and cut it into wide strips. And folded it as shown in the picture below. After that, I made holes in it. And then, put them in the sticks.

Then, I took blue paper and cut a triangle shape from it. And then attached it to the top of the sticks.

Then, I cut it from the lower side as

And then, I attached all these sticks to the ship with the help of glue.

And its ready. Here is the final look.

Here is the video of this procedure.

That's it for today.
Hope you will like it. Don't forget to give your feedback. I will be back with another idea soon.
Till then take care and bye.
