It’s kitten o'clock guyssss. Today I decided to draw this cute kitten and I can’t believe I did it!! So yeah, congratulations to me for finishing this drawing in one piece🥰
Who still remembers the cat rhyme we were taught in nursery school? The rhyme that helps you draw a cat?? The one that goes like this…
Small circle, small circle, big circle
Say Mummy, say Daddy say hello
Six times six, six times six, thirty six,
Six times six, six times six, say hello….
I remember every word and only God knows how many times I sang that rhyme today while drawing.
As usual, I’ll walk you guys through the entire creation process and I hope my tutorial helps someone out there.
I used the following materials for my drawing and followed the steps below.
Materials
Sketch pad
2H pencil
4B pencil
Eraser
Black pen
Red pen
Eraser
Procedure
Step 1:
I started by drawing the head of my kitten with my pencil.
Step 2:
I proceeded to draw the body of my kitten and a heart shape in between.
Step 3:
I added the hands, legs, and tail of my kitten. All through the process I tried my best not to make any mistake as I didn’t want to disfigure my Kitten.
Step 4:
I drew the multiple heart shapes, eyes, nose, and whiskers of my kitten and at this point, my drawing was gradually coming to life.
Step 5:
Satisfied with how my drawing was, I went ahead to darken the outline of my drawing using my black pen.
Step 6:
I shaded the heart shapes around my kitten and also its nose with my red pen and voila! My cute kitten was ready😃
I love this drawing so much and I am proud of myself for pulling it off.
What do you think about my drawing? Is it something you’d love to try out? I’d love to know your thoughts in the comment section.
