Being Creative with Recycled Materials.

Hi, guys!

I hope everyone here is having a great week!

Being creative sometimes is hard for me. I found myself always in the abyss because I don't know what to do. Even if people tell me I am creative, I just don't believe it, unless we talk about writing. I WOULD LOVE TO ILLUSTRATE A CHILDREN'S BOOK OF MY OWN. 😄

Today, I want to bring you this piece os decoration that I found easy to do, and we can do it with kids at home to nurture their creativity.

Materials:

  • Cardboard.
  • Egg container.
  • Buttons.
  • Paint.
  • Silicone Gun.
  • Green color pencil.
  • Small piece of ribbon.
  • Scissors.
  • Brushes.

Step 1: The first thing is to cut out some of the egg containers . In my case, I cut out 5 of them.

Step 2: Then I cut the containers to make some petals. This will turn out in flower shape.

Step 3: I painted the cardboard flowers with white paint.

Step 4: I glued the flowers on the cardboard base and then I glued some buttons on the insides of the flowers.

Step 5: I used a green color pencil because I didn't have green paint. In this point we have to use what we have at the moment. With the green color pencil I drew the flowers' stalk.

Step 6: With the last egg container, I painted it red. The idea was to make it look like a ladybug 🐞. With black paint I made the datails on the cardboard and on the body.

Step 7: I glued a piece of ribbon on the back of the frame and made a hanger with it.

And that way I made a decoration piece for my home. Hope you like it. See you.

Note: All photos were taken with my Samsung galaxy A12.
