Good evening hive family, hope you all are enjoying your weekend, today I will show you how I made this beautiful baby plinted gown.
Here are the material I used in making this, my Ankara material, lining, zip, and my baby lace.
The first thing I did was to fold my material by two and remove my upper side of the gown by ten inches for both side and the back side I gave out one inches for the zip, I cut the front neck length by four inches and the back by two inches and the width by three inches.
From there I cut the down part by twenty inches using the Ankara and my baby lace by five inches.
And then I cut my hand by six inches using the baby lace and the Ankara by three inches for the plinting.
From there I proceed to cut out my lining for the upper side of the gown and i proceed to fix it after that I iron it.
This is the front
This is the back.
Then i proceed to plint my baby lace at the edge of the Ankara, the three inches I cut out for plinting.
Now someone will be wondering what plinting is, is just folding your material step by step on top of each other and then sew it, just like this.
After that I proceed to join the front and back together before plinting the down part attaching it to the upper side.
After plinting it on the upper side of the gown, I proceed to plint my Ankara for the hand on the baby lace.
After that I proceed to fix the the hand and then join everything together fix my the zip and here is the outcome.
