Intensely joyful pencil holder (ENG/ESP)

Greetings to all dear crafters of this beloved DiyHub community. I hope you are all very well, enjoying good health, and joy.

I am very happy to be back, to share my initiative of the day, inspired by the animated movie intensely, it is a pencil holder with the character, Alegria!!!; This characteristic character is my favorite, because he is always willing to make the change, to help all emotions, to a charismatic mood with joy.

You won't believe me, but I didn't have a decent pencil holder, I was using simple glasses, and I wanted something cute and meaningful, that would fill my work table with tenderness, but before I started making my pencil holder I made sure to ask my daughter, for her favorite character of intensely, she answered me, that her favorite character was boredom hahahaha, that was good news, this means she won't be taking mine for her room.😄And to keep her from getting bored, I promised to help her personalize her pencil holder with her favorite character boredom, which is cute, by the way.😊💞

To achieve to make this beautiful pencil holder I used, recycled materials, like scraps of fomi and metal container, where condensed milk comes.

It is important to recycle because any material can be very useful, and thus we take care of the planet.

¡Me siento muy feliz de estar de vuelta, para compartir mi iniciativa del día, inspirada en la película animada intensamente, se trata de un portalápiz con el personaje,!Alegria!!; Este característico personaje es mi favorito, porque siempre está dispuesto a hacer el cambio, para ayudar a todas las emociones, a un estado de ánimo carismático con alegría.

No me lo van a creer, pero no tenía un portalápiz decente, estaba usando vasos sencillos, y quería algo lindo y significativo, que llenara de ternura mi mesa de trabajo, pero antes de comenzar hacer mi portalápiz me asegure de preguntarle a mi hija, por su personaje favorito de intensamente, me respondió, que su personaje favorito era aburrimiento jajajaja, esa fue una buena noticia, esto quiere decir que no se va a llevar el mío para su habitación.😄Y para evitar que se aburriera, le prometí ayudarla a personalizar su portalápiz con su personaje favorito aburrimiento, que es bien linda, por cierto.😊💞

Para lograr hacer este hermoso portalápiz utilicé, materiales reciclados, como retazos de fomi y recipiente de metal, donde viene la leche condensada.

Es importante reciclar porque cualquier material puede ser de mucha utilidad, y así cuidamos el planeta.

On a small piece of fomi, I started drawing the figure of the body of my intensely joyful character, with the pencil I began to draw the head freehand, without a mold or guide, just having the insight that everything would turn out well.

Then I cut out my first piece, which will be like to assemble a head breaker, not complex but yes, with a lot of dedication.

En un pequeño pedazo de fomi, comencé a dibujar la figura del cuerpo de mi personaje intensamente alegria, con el lápiz comencé a dibujar la cabeza a mano alzada, sin molde ni guía, solo teniendo la intuición de que todo saldría bien.

Luego recorté mi primera pieza, que será como armar un rompecabezas, no complejo pero de mucha dedicación.

Using more pieces of fomi in this step, it was blue to make the hair and green for the dress, I drew again, but this time, I did take measurements of the body and head, to make these other pieces, so that they fit well.

At first I thought to paint the container, but the paint did not work, because it is cold paint and I did not like the look, because the paint was very clear and the details were very noticeable, for this material is ideal oil paint. So finally I decided to wipe it with a damp cloth and remove the layer of paint and leave the container with its original silver color.

Then I had the idea of lining the whole container with yellow flowers, so I started to draw and cut out many flowers, luckily I have several pieces of foami.

Yellow flowers make happy moments.

Utilizando más trozos de foami en este paso, era azul para hacer el pelo y verde para el vestido, volví a dibujar, pero esta vez, sí que tomé medidas del cuerpo y la cabeza, para hacer estas otras piezas, para que encajaran bien.

Al principio pensé en pintar el recipiente, pero la pintura no funcionaba, porque es pintura fría y no me gustaba como quedaba, porque la pintura era muy clara y se notaban mucho los detalles, para este material es ideal la pintura al óleo. Así que finalmente decidí pasarle un trapo húmedo y quitar la capa de pintura y dejar el recipiente con su color plateado original.

Entonces se me ocurrió la idea de forrar todo el recipiente con flores amarillas, así que empecé a dibujar y recortar muchas flores, por suerte tengo varios trozos de foami.
Las flores amarillas alegran los momentos.

Finally, when I finished cutting out all the pieces, I started to shape them with the hot iron, being very careful not to burn myself, I just placed them on the iron and when they took shape, they came off by themselves and fell on the table, ready.

Finalmente cuando termine de recortar todas las piezas, empece a moldearlas con la plancha caliente, teniendo mucho cuidado de no quemarme, solo las coloque sobre la plancha y cuando tomaron forma se soltaban solas y caian sobre la mesa ya listas.

In this step I started to dress my character alegria.
With the help of a silicone gun, I began to glue the pieces, starting with the hair, then the dress and shoes, and finally the eyes, which were two white half moons, two blue half moons and a full black moon.

En este paso comence a vestir mi personaje alegria.
Con la ayuda de una pistola de silicona, comencé a pegar las piezas, iniciando con el cabello, después el vestido y los zapatos, y finalmente los ojos, que fueron dos medias lunas blancas, dos media lunas azules y una luna completa de color negro.

With the white paint and a skewer stick, I painted some dots of lights in the eyes, and with the black marker, I painted the eyelashes and the smiling mouth.

After I finished the cute joy, I glued it to the container, with the hot silicone, then I started to decorate the rest of the pencil holder with the yellow flowers with gold centers, until it was completely covered.

On the inside of the container I lined with blue frosted fomi, at this point I concluded my beautiful work of the day.

Con la pintura blanca y un palo de brocheta, pinte unos puntos de luces en los ojos, y con el marcador negro, pinte las pestañas y la boca sonriente.

Después que termine la linda alegría, la pegue al recipiente, con la silicona caliente, luego empecé a decorar el resto del portalápiz con las flores amarillas de centros dorados, hasta cubrirlo por completo.

En la parte interna del recipiente forré con fomi azul escarchado, en este punto concluí mi lindo trabajo del día.
