El 22 de marzo es una fecha muy importante, este día se celebra “El día mundial del Agua”, este es un recurso natural fundamental para la vida en nuestro planeta, su importancia abarca desde la supervivencia de los seres vivos, hasta el desarrollo de actividades económicas y sociales, es por esto que hoy quiero dedicar una importante manualidad para la supervivencia de las aves, ellas desempeñan un papel crucial en el equilibrio de los ecosistemas y tienen una gran importancia tanto para el medio ambiente, como para los seres humanos.
Algunas aves sirven de polinizadores, otras de alimento, otras para el control de plagas, entre otras cosas, es por esto que he decidido hacer algo especial para ellas, a mi hogar llegan muchas aves y en ocasiones me da tristeza ya que ellas quieren bajar a beber agua, pero por el temor de toparse con alguno de nosotros no lo hacen, es por esto que he decidido crearles un bebedero y colocárselos en el árbol de mi patio para que ellas no sientan temor de bajar y así yo poder seguir disfrutando de su belleza y que siempre puedan tener agua a su alcance, acompáñame a hacer esta linda manualidad y lo mejor con materiales de reciclaje:

March 22nd is a very important date. This day marks "World Water Day." Water is a fundamental natural resource for life on our planet. Its importance ranges from the survival of living beings to the development of economic and social activities. That's why today I want to dedicate an important craft to the survival of birds. They play a crucial role in the balance of ecosystems and are of great importance to both the environment and humans.
Some birds serve as pollinators, others as food, others for pest control, among other things, this is why I have decided to do something special for them, many birds come to my home and sometimes it makes me sad because they want to come down to drink water, but for fear of running into one of us they do not, this is why I have decided to create a waterer for them and place it in the tree in my yard so that they do not feel afraid to come down and thus I can continue enjoying their beauty and that they can always have water within their reach, join me to make this nice craft and the best with recycled materials:

En el patio de mi casa tengo un enorme árbol de mango 🥭 , en la actualidad está completamente cargado de este rico fruto y por ende llegan muchas aves a tratar de comérselos, en mi patio siempre tengo algunos envases con agua, pero en ocasiones a las aves les da miedo acercarse ya que ellas temen mucho de los seres humanos y muchas veces prefieren no acercarse.
Me gusta mucho observarlas, siento que ellas son los seres que en este mundo tienen más libertad, las aves pueden volar muy alto y disfrutar de todo lo que nos obsequia la naturaleza, pero ellas en muchas ocasiones sufren mucho ya que no consiguen agua con facilidad, así que pensé en la manera de hacerles unos bebederos con material de reciclaje y colocárselos en el árbol de mango, así ellas tendrán la dicha de poder tomar Agua y seguir comiéndose los frutos.
El agua es un recurso que para muchos animales silvestre se les hace difícil de conseguir, la escasez de agua es un problema creciente debido al aumento de la población, el cambio climático y la contaminación, es por esto que los seres humanos debemos tratar de preservar este importante recurso, mi hogar queda muy cerca del parque nacional Terepaima, este es un parque natural y allí alberga una gran cantidad de especies de aves entre otros animales.
Supongo que por la escasez de este recurso, las aves buscan lugares en los que puedan conseguirlo y conseguir con más facilidad alimento, lo mejor de todo es que estas llegan hasta mi hogar, es por esto que se me ocurrió la idea de crearles un bebedero y que ellas puedan tener este gran beneficio y poder tomar agua cuando lo deseen, este bebedero Tiene la facilidad de ir dispensando el agua sin que se les acabe rápidamente y sin que se le bote, aquí les dejo las listas de materiales utilizar:
- garrafas de plástico grandes
- Envase de refresco de 1 l
- cortador, tijeras o cuchillo
- lápiz o marcador
- tiras o trenzas de la que tengas
- cinta adhesiva
- agua
In my backyard, I have a huge mango tree 🥭 . Currently, it's completely loaded with this delicious fruit, and therefore many birds come to try to eat them. I always have some containers of water in my yard, but sometimes the birds are afraid to approach because they are very afraid of humans and often prefer not to.
I really enjoy watching them. I feel they are the beings in this world with the most freedom. Birds can fly very high and enjoy everything that nature gives us, but they often suffer greatly because they can't easily get water. So I thought about making some waterers out of recycled material and placing them on the mango tree. This way, they will have the joy of being able to drink water and continue eating the fruit.
Water is a resource that many wild animals find difficult to obtain. Water scarcity is a growing problem due to population growth, climate change, and pollution. This is why humans must strive to preserve this important resource. My home is very close to Terepaima National Park. This is a natural park and is home to a large number of bird species, among other animals.
I suppose that because of the scarcity of this resource, birds look for places where they can find it and more easily obtain food. The best part is that they come to my home. This is why I came up with the idea of creating a water fountain for them so they can enjoy this great benefit of being able to drink water whenever they want. This fountain has the ability to dispense water without running out quickly or spilling it. Here are the lists of materials to use:
- Large plastic bottles
- 1L soda container
- Cutter, scissors, or knife
- Pencil or marker
- Strips or braids of whatever you have
- Adhesive tape
- Water

STEP BY STEP
Para nuestro primer paso vamos a comenzar marcando el envase grande o garrafa, le haremos una forma cuadrada quitándole casi todo el Centro y dejando sólo los laterales, es importante dejarle profundidad en el fondo ya que allí será donde se deposite el agua, en uno de los costados trataremos de dejarlo un poco más ancho para poder colocar el envase donde va el agua, para cortarlo podemos utilizar un cortador de precisión, el que tengo es muy frágil y me sirvió para comenzar a hacer el orificio, luego tuve que ayudarme con un cuchillo grande ya que el plástico del envase es un poco grueso.
For our first step we are going to start by marking the large container or carafe, we will make a square shape by removing almost the entire center and leaving only the sides, it is important to leave depth at the bottom since that is where the water will be deposited, on one of the sides we will try to leave it a little wider to be able to place the container where the water goes, to cut it we can use a precision cutter, the one I have is very fragile and it helped me start making the hole, then I had to help myself with a large knife since the plastic of the container is a little thick.

Para el segundo paso vamos a colocar el envase de refresco dentro de la garrafa grande, lo ideal es que el envase de refresco quepa dentro del envase grande, mi primer envase no cabía, así que le corté el fondo y lo coloqué con el pico hacia abajo, al principio no funcionó ya que el agua no se mantenía dentro del frasco, luego pensé y conseguí la solución, le puse el tapón a medio cerrar, llené el envase y así logré que contuviera el agua.
No todas las manualidades salen bien al primer intento, por suerte tenía otra garrafa y otro envase de refresco, luego probé colocándolo en la posición normal adentro de la garrafa y así quedó mejor, lo llene y lo pegué con cinta adhesiva, le abrí unos orificios en la parte de abajo con un alfiler, antes de qué comenzara a botar el agua le coloqué agua al envase grande y así la retendrá mientras no se vaya gastando.
For the second step, we're going to place the soda container inside the large jug. Ideally, the soda container should fit inside the large container. My first container didn't fit, so I cut off the bottom and placed it with the spout facing down. At first, it didn't work because the water wouldn't stay inside the jar. Then I thought about it and found a solution. I put the cap halfway closed, filled the container, and that's how I managed to hold the water.
Not all crafts turn out well on the first try. Luckily, I had another jug and another soda container. Then I tried placing it in the normal position inside the jug, and it worked better that way. I filled it and taped it together. I poked some holes in the bottom with a pin. Before the water started leaking, I added water to the large container, and that way it will retain the water as long as it doesn't run out.

Ves que fácil es hacer estos bebederos, así ya están listos, ahora sólo queda colocarlos en el árbol , ambos bebederos me servirán, colocare por ahora uno de mis envases en el árbol, sólo que no me quedará tan alto, debo conseguir una cuerda más larga y resistente y esperar que las aves consigan el bebedero, creo que ahora me la pasaré más en el patio observando si llegan aves, ja ja, de verdad espero que ellas logren conseguirlo.
You see how easy it is to make these drinkers, now they are ready, all that remains is to place them in the tree. Both drinkers will work. For now, I will place one of my containers in the tree, but it won't be as high. I must get a longer, stronger rope and wait for the birds to get to the drinker. I think now I will spend more time in the yard watching for birds to arrive, ha ha, I really hope they manage to get it.
