I woke up in the morning and thought that I won't go to the office today. The work pressure at the office has been quite low for the past two days. Still have some of my reserved leave remaining. I don't feel like traveling a long way today. I made a phone call to the office to request for a day off. So I was thinking about what can be done while sitting at home. Then I thought about planting chili saplings in the empty space around my house.
After having breakfast in the morning, I headed to the nursery to buy chili saplings. We have a few nurseries in our village that provide good quality saplings.
I bought a few saplings and now I'm going to plant them. It's not for selling purposes, but just for the cooking needs of our house. If I can produce enough for the household, I'll be happy.

The place I have selected for planting has plenty of light and air circulation. Previously I planted this saplings once in a shaded area where the yield was comparatively low. These saplings can also be planted in soil or plastic tubs. People living in the city can do it too. Loamy soil is most suitable for chilli cultivation. Although it is somewhat lacking in our land. Anyway let's plant.

I have mixed a measured amount of organic fertilizer with the soil. Then I carefully planted the saplings in rows. After planting it, I gave light water irrigation so that the saplings are refreshed easily. Daily watering is necessary to prevent the soil from drying out. However, excess water should not accumulate in the base of the tree. After a few days, I will use urea fertilizer around the plant's base, as it helps in rapid growth.
The saplings have been planted, and from now on, I have to clean the weeds timely. This is the most important aspect of taking care of chili plants.
There are goats and herd of sheep around our house, which can destroy the saplings. Therefore, I am thinking of protecting the plants by creating a fence around the garden.

I enjoy growing vegetables, but it feels very disappointing when the saplings are damaged by pests. Sometimes, I think, Oh, I made a hobby, I was work there properly and even then it got wasted. Regardless, regular care is necessary. The morning went well. How was my planting process? Your suggestions at any stage of the work will be helpful in my next planting process.
