En esta ocasión, quiero compartir con ustedes la elaboración de un sencillo pero llamativo antifaz. Lo he denominado "antifaz exprés" porque su creación es rápida y sencilla, perfecta para cuando tenemos poco tiempo y necesitamos algo vistoso para una ocasión especial. En este caso, el antifaz será utilizado para decorar el jardín de infancia de mi nieto durante la celebración del Carnaval.

Today I bring you “Antifaz Exprés: Joy and Color in an Instant”.
This time, I want to share with you the making of a simple but eye-catching mask. I have called it “express mask” because its creation is quick and easy, perfect for when we have little time and we need something eye-catching for a special occasion. In this case, the mask will be used to decorate my grandson's kindergarten during Carnival.
Materiales
1. Tijeras.
2. Silicon líquido.
3. Foami Blanco y Rojo escarchado.
4. Listón celoseda de 2 cm de ancho por 64 cm de largo.
5. Maquillaje para ojos (sombras).
6. Diseño de mascara.

Con el diseño ya seleccionado, procedemos a transferirlo a cada uno de los foamis correspondientes. En este caso, la pieza base que formará el antifaz será cortada en foami rojo escarchado, mientras que el diseño de la luna y las estrellas se realizará en foami blanco.
With the design already selected, we proceed to transfer it to each of the corresponding foamis. In this case, the base piece that will form the mask will be cut in frosted red foami, while the moon and stars design will be made in white foami.
Con nuestras piezas en cada foami listas, tomamos la pieza que forma la luna para darle un sombreado por todo el contorno, lo que le dará un efecto menos plano. Para ello, utilizamos sobras en tono negro y un pañito seco. Con el pañito seco, se toma una pequeña cantidad de sobra negra, pasando suavemente por el contorno de la luna, difuminando el color hacia el centro, si es necesario, repite el proceso para obtener el efecto deseado.
With our pieces in each foami ready, we take the piece that forms the moon to give it a shading all around the contour, which will give it a less flat effect. To do this, we use black leftovers and a dry tissue. With the dry tissue, we take a small amount of black leftover, passing gently around the contour of the moon, blurring the color towards the center, if necessary, repeat the process to obtain the desired effect.
Para finalizar la pieza de la luna, cortamos dos pequeñas tiras de foami rojo escarchado de aproximadamente 3 milímetros de grosor y las pegamos alrededor del contorno del ojo. Esto le dará un detalle adicional y un toque especial.
To finish the moon piece, we cut two small strips of frosted red foami about 3 millimeters thick and glue them around the outline of the eye. This will give it an additional detail and a special touch.
En esta parte, vamos a pegar las piezas principales con sus respectivos adornos. En este caso, utilizamos tres estrellas. Con el silicón líquido, pegamos las tres estrellas de foami alrededor del antifaz en las posiciones que más nos gusten. Se corta cuatro trozos de cinta roja, cada uno de aproximadamente 16 centímetros y los pegamos al reverso en una de las puntas de la máscara.
In this part, we are going to glue the main pieces with their respective ornaments. In this case, we use three stars. With the liquid silicone, we glue the three foami stars around the mask in the positions we like the most. Cut four pieces of red ribbon, each about 16 centimeters long, and glue them to the back of one of the mask's ends.
Pegadas las cintas, se cortan por la mitad a lo largo para obtener 8 listones de aproximadamente 1 centímetro de ancho cada uno. Luego, rizamos estos listones con la ayuda de las tijeras. Se coloca el filo de la tijera en la parte inferior del listón y desliza hacia arriba con una ligera presión para crear el rizo.
Once the ribbons are glued, cut them in half lengthwise to obtain 8 ribbons of approximately 1 centimeter wide each. Then, curl these ribbons with the help of the scissors. Place the edge of the scissors on the bottom of the ribbon and slide upwards with light pressure to create the curl.
