Hello, beautiful and creative friends of the community. I hope that we are all doing well and making the most of the new year. Gradually we are coming to the end of the first month, and I hope that we could fulfill along the way.

For me, it has really been a very special moment, and every second of the day seems to be productive, purposeful, and fulfilling. For the fact that there is not much work to be done on the farm these days, I find more time for sewing and creative work at home. It has been a huge journey of self-improvement in my sewing ever since the year began. While I am learning new things, I equally work on perfecting previous knowledge and adding finishing touches to some recycled projects.

Look at this beauty I have just transformed.

It was a simple and ordinary dress here until I added these perfect embellishments that gave it an outstanding and gorgeous look.

You should be even surprised that this was formally an abandoned jumpsuit.

Instead of leaving the jumpsuit to lay idle or be trashed. I unstitched it and worked around it, cutting off everything that made it a pant.

First I got a fitted skirt for the lower part. I remeasured the upper body and worked it to my current body measurement.

Stitched them together and added the sleeve.

Then it was time for embellishment.

I got some pearls. I was initially confused about which color to use that would match my dress and yet not look odd. Then I settled for the wine color in order not to overdo creativity and make things off.

The pearl was a bit different from the color of the dress I was worried since I didn't have any other matching pearl at home

Buy everything worked out perfectly and I learnt the importance of trusting my instincts at trying new color combinations

The most outstanding part of this creative process is that I used a zipper to lighten up the dress and give it a pretty sexy appearance.

Where there would have been a seam line at the front of the dress where I had initially cut off the pant part, I didn't want anyone to note this different, so I decided to sew in a decorative front zipper there.
This became a stylish design on my dress, making it so pretty 😍.

Now the final look of this dress is breathtaking. From an abandoned jumpsuit to a lovely dress, what do you all think of this?
