Not sure why this comment has been on my mind but feel it needs a deeper explanation - the other reasons for having more than one looper -

  • Independent control of different instrumental elements on the mixing board - which is multi-track, allowing me to mix high quality from a live performance by keeping the tracks separate
  • Independent control of loop elements to fade out and fade back in, to create build for a 'song' while live
  • Different loop lengths - meaning I can have one track that is 4 bars and another that is 8 bars - so the rhythm can be 2 bars, I can make a baseline that is 4 bars in length and a solo that is 8 bars in length - quantized to tempo automatically by the pedals and linked via midi

Sometimes the most considered answer doesn't come to me until weeks later when the mind is prepared. 😄
