Using Stencils

In my last post, I had been talking about using organizers in various aspects of my life. Today, I just want to elaborate more on that.

There are times when I am unable to find the proper template that I wanted to use in my organizer planners. Sometimes, I feel very frustrated as I am unable to afford- not just find it. In my early days( that was like 2 years ago) of doing this, I have decided to use a stencil to make my tasks easier.

The pages of my bullet journal( that's the cover on top) makes it easier for me to do that. In fact, there are a lot of fancy posts on bullet journal lay out. To be honest, I will not be doing that because: I do not have the time and the talent to be that creative. Also, I do not have time to do just that. I want to be more realistic and relatable to most people.

Here is the page that I was talking about. That's the close up on top and, the actual 2 pages is the ones on the bottom.

Here are some of my favourite stencils that I use. I just use gel pens on mine as it looks better.

Here are some of the templates I created last year. I was not able to use this at that time as I was traveling and I left this at home. So here are they- blank. If you will also notice- I use a regular ball point ball pen for most of them.

My savings tracker at that time. So everytime I deposit a certain amount- at that time 35 and 50 dollars daily( cause I was saving for Christmas expenses- both for gifts and for whatever I needed), I shade a box/ "honeycomb." Inside the honeycomb are numbers- so that's the total saving I currently have on that specific day( example on top- 35,70, 105, and so on ).

Here is a daily tracker for me. Again, these are not applicable to everyone as I customised it to fit my lifestyle. For me, the most important things I needed- working full time, is knowing the tasks that I needed to do, the food that I am going to eat and a list of items( usually grocery items) that I needed for the week ahead.

And this is the cleaning tracker. For me, I am always busy and in my days off, I am usually very tired to do any houseworks. So, I assign a task/ part of the house that I needed to clean everyday. I cannot always clean/ do these things because I am often tired. But, if I am able to do at least 2 or 3 things in my daily tasks, it would make it easier for me in my days off. Four squares in every item as my standards is very low- every week, I need to clean and tick off one of them- that's 4 times in one month.

So there you have it folks! Next time, I will be talking about what you needed to do if worst comes to worst- like you do not have any bullet journal stencils and only have ruler and a pen.

Sort:

Ohh that's very neat of you @nurseanne84. When you have this kinda customized journal, you live a very well organized life 👍😉 when I was still working, I have this too.

But ever since I married, I never did this anymore. Mostly because I am affected by the style of my hubby. We just do whatever we want to when we think or discuss it. On the spot kinda activities 🤣🤣 no more saving, only HBD saving

Well someone has to keep track on everythong here cici.you are lucky you have a husband who is there for you

Hello Anna! I really enjoyed your post, and is that I usually organize a notebook like this, but I do everything with office supplies, I did not know that there were templates. Thanks for sharing this post in our DIYHub community, it's very useful and I'm sure it will be useful for others. Happy Weekend!...

thank you very much.I am planning on making another post using a pen and ruler only to create their lay out.Ues there are templates out there-even ruler templates to create whatever design you have in mind. Its more cost effective though time consuming
