I just joined to share my sewing and designing journey as a beginner. I've purchased everything needed to get started and finally finished my first work of the year.
I hope to create most of my cloths by myself this year. I know it is a stretch but let me try anyway. Since I don't have a sewing machine, I plan to hand-sew the new ones and also upcycle the old ones with embroidery and other designs.
My very first project is this purple top which I made prettier by adding a glittery neckline. I used a matching purple cut bead using a backstitch. I also used a purple thread to stitch them to the cloth.
I'm really happy with the single layer but a bit confused whether to add more layers. let's see! I might try adding two more. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Other than that, i'm really excited to use the embroidery materials I've brought including beads, thread, soldering iron and more! Here's another shorts of everything I got to get started.
I'm also happy to share my journey here with you all! It'll be a great help if you can suggest me the related communities in here for me to post my blogs and anything else for me to get started here.
