¡Bendecido día, gente bella de DIY Hub! Hoy les traigo otra manualidad navideña. Se trata de una Estrella dorada realizada con materiales reciclados, ideal para decorar el arbolito o el lugar de su preferencia. Acompáñenme a ver el paso a paso.
The materials we will need are / Los materiales que vamos a necesitar son:
10 cartons of toilet paper rolls / 10 cartones de rollos de papel higiénico
Paints and brush / Pinturas y pincel
Scissors and liquid silicone / Tijeras y silicón líquido
Gold glitter and glod thread / Escarcha dorada e hilo dorado
We start by making a cross in the center of the previously flattened cardboard and some marks at a distance of 2 cm to form triangles like the ones we see here. Then we cut these triangles until we have a piece like the one we see in the image. This piece will serve as a mold to make 9 more.
Iniciamos realizando una cruz en el centro del cartón previamente aplanado y unas marcas a una distancia de 2 cm para formar triángulos como las que vemos acá. Posteriormente recortamos estos triángulos hasta que nos quede una pieza como la que vemos en la imagen. Esta pieza nos servirá como molde para realizar 9 más.
Now we are going to glue the cardboard pieces one on top of the other with the help of liquid silicone or silicone stick.
Ahora vamos a ir pegando las piezas de cartón una sobre otra con la ayuda de silicón líquido o en barra.
We are going to pull from end to end the piece that is already taking the shape of a star and glue the ends. Later we will paint and place a detail in the center to hide some imperfections.
Vamos a halar de extremo a extremo la pieza que ya va tomando la forma de estrella y pegamos dichos extremos. Posteriormente pintaremos y colocaremos un detalle en el centro para disimular algunas imperfecciones.
Now it's time to color this star. I chose fuchsia for the inside and gold for the outside. You can choose the color of your preference. We apply two coats of paint if necessary.
Llegó la hora de darle color a esta estrella. Yo escogí el fucsia para el interior y el dorado para el exterior. Ustedes pueden elegir el color de su preferencia. Damos dos capas de pintura de ser necesario.
We are going to place a cardboard circle with gold glitter and some pearls in the center as a decorative element, achieving a better finish.
Vamos a colocar un círculo de cartón con escarcha dorada y unas perlas en el centro como elemento decorativo, logrando un mejor acabado.
