¡Feliz semana, DIY Hub! Hoy les comparto un Florero con materiales reciclados, ideal para decorar el lugar de su preferencia. Acompáñenme a ver el paso a paso de esta linda manualidad.
The materials we will need are / Los materiales que vamos a necesitar son:
- A reusable glass jar / Un frasco de vidrio reutilizable
- 4 cartons of toilet paper rolls / 4 cartones de rollos de papel higiénico
- Scissors and liquid silicone / Tijeras y silicón líquido
- Paints and brush / Pinturas y pincel
- Gold glitter and white glue / Escarcha dorada y pega blanca
We start by making 2 cm marks and cuts in 2 cardboard rolls and also 1 cm marks and cuts in 2 other cardboards to obtain strips like the ones we see here. We will need 8 strips of 2cm and 16 strips of 1cm.
Iniciamos realizando unas marcas y cortes de 2 cm en 2 rollos de cartón y también marcas y cortes de 1cm en otros 2 cartones para obtener tiras como las que vemos acá. Necesitaremos 8 tiras de 2cm y 16 tiras de 1 cm.
Then we measure a base of 5cm on our strips and fold them to obtain an arch shape as shown in the image.
Posteriormente medimos una base de 5cm en nuestras tiras y doblamos para obtener una forma de arco como vemos en la imagen.
We paint our cardboard arches, making sure to also paint the inside and edges of the pieces. We can apply two coats if we consider it necessary.
Pasamos a pintar nuestros arcos de cartón, cerciorándonos de pintar también la parte interior y bordes de las piezas. Podemos dar dos capas si lo consideramos necesario.
Now we are going to give a coat of paint of any color to the glass jar, this step is done only so that the surface of the jar has a better grip when placing the glue, in this case the liquid silicone.
Ahora vamos a dar una capa de pintura de cualquier color al frasco de vidrio, este paso se hace solo para que la superficie del frasco tenga un mejor agarre a la hora de colocarle el pegamento, en este caso el silicón líquido.
Once dry we start gluing our pieces, placing the thicker ones on the bottom of the jar and the thinner ones on the top, as shown in the images.
Una vez seco empezamos a pegar nuestras piezas, colocando las más gruesas en la parte inferior del frasco y las más delgadas en la parte superior, como vemos en las imágenes.
Finally we put a layer of homemade varnish that I made with white glue, a little water and gold glitter, to give a touch of shine to the piece.
Finalmente le colocamos una capa de barniz casero que hice con pega blanca, un poco de agua y escarcha dorada, para darle un toque de brillo a la pieza.
