Tutorial Blender: Pokeball [Esp/Eng]

in DIYHub3 days ago

Hi hivean! Happy day 😁
Today I made another Blender tutorial spoken in Spanish. It's been a while since I've dedicated myself to learning or improving the program, and thanks to @ryivhnn, I spent some time looking at some things about textures with nodes. Maybe not very advanced, but quite practical. I hope it can be useful to someone at some point, hehe.

¡Hola hivean!

To summarize the tutorial, what I did was explain how to model a pokeball from a cube, then we applied some textures controlling the intensity with a Color Ramp node connected to the roughness of the "metalic BSDF" node, which can also be used with the "principled BSDF" node, increasing the metallic value if you have an older version of Blender. And to give a little more detail, I added a "gabor texture" node to make a tear effect on the material, I also connected it to a Color Ramp node to control the intensity through distance and the black and white tone, and this other node I connected it to a Bump to connect it to the metallic in "Normal"

Wow, your work is very impressive, and your presence on DIYHub graces our community. Thank you very much!.

This tutorial is super cool! The Pokéball looks so realistic in Blender. Your attention to detail really makes the model stand out!

Yes! The idea was to add a bit of realism with the textures, thank you very much. 😁

I have seen the video almost complete, and what you do is excellent and I rarely see the process of creation. Congratulations Rowell, wow you have talent, this is inspiring work. And thanks for sharing it in our DIYHub community ✌️

I'm truly grateful for the support. I hope someone who needs it can learn a little from this, hehe.
