Mi hermana menor es fanática de los gatos y hoy le hice unos aretes colgantes con unos gaticos en mostacillas. Las manualidades me gustan mucho porque me relajan y es lindo fabricar algo para alguien.

My younger sister is a cat fanatic and today I made her some dangling earrings with some kittens in beads. I really like crafts because they relax me and it's nice to make something for someone.
Materiales para fabricar:
-Mostacillas #8 (negro, azul, naranja)
- Hilo encerado negro
- ganchos para aretes
- tijeras
- aguja mostacillera.
Materials to make:
-Straws #8 (black, blue, orange).
- Black waxed thread
- earring hooks
- scissors
- mustard needle.
Vamos a colocar un metro de hilo en la aguja. Es importante que la aguja sea para mostacillas para que podamos meterla dos veces por las mostacillas sin que se atore.
We are going to place one meter of thread on the needle. It is important that the needle is a beading needle so that we can thread it twice through the beads without it getting stuck.
Vamos a hacer una fila de dos mostacillas hasta que lleguemos a 11 columnas.
Luego empezaré a subir entrando en la segunda mostacilla para ir reduciendo la cantidad de columnas y formar un triángulo hasta llegar a dos columnas nada más.

Al llegar a la parte alta devolvemos la aguja por alguno de los extremos y justos donde llegamos vamos a empezar a meter las mostacillas para construir los flecos de abajo que van a dar forma a los gatos.

Cuando ya tenemos listo el arete cortamos el hilo y puedes quemar con un yesquero.

When we have the earring ready we cut the thread and you can burn it with a tinder.
Ahora vamos a abrir el gancho para colgar el arete y vamos a meterlo entre el cuadrito que queda arriba. Luego cerramos con una pinza.
