Hola, amigos de DIYHub. En esta ocasión, estuve haciendo una restauración de un florero que estaba roto y pensé en darle una segunda vida como lapicero. Además de arreglar la parte rota, también lo voy a pintar para darle un cambio. Espero que les guste esta idea y que también puedan restaurar algún objeto que tenga valor.

Los materiales que use: pega blanca y silicón, tijeras, pincel,pintura blanca, fucsia y amarillo,una esponja y servilletas.

The materials I used: white glue and silicone, scissors, a paintbrush, white, fuchsia and yellow paint, a sponge and napkins.

El florero estaba así,y lo que haré con la esponja esque la voy a picar en pedazos que sean encajable y la voy a pegar con silicón y despues que este bien seco le voy a pegar varias capas de servilletas con la pega blanca.

The vase was like this, and what I'm going to do with the sponge is that I'm going to cut it into pieces that fit together and I'm going to glue it with silicone and after it's completely dry I'm going to glue several layers of napkins with white glue.

Trate de cubrir por las partes rotas con la servilleta y bastante pega para que dure un poco más,ahora lo que hice fue esperar a que secara bien para empezar a pintar,y decidí pintarlo todo de blanco y le hare flores de color fucsia con el centro de amarillo y la parte de arriba lo pinte de fucsia también pero con un poco de amarillo. Pienso que con el fondo blanco y el color fucsia hacen un buen contraste.

I tried to cover the broken parts with the napkin and a lot of glue so that it lasts a little longer, now what I did was wait for it to dry well to start painting, and I decided to paint it all white and I will make fuchsia flowers with a yellow center and I painted the top fuchsia too but with a little yellow. I think that with the white background and the fuchsia color they make a good contrast.

Así quedó realmente no pensé que con la esponja quedará bien porque este tipo de cosas las e visto pero con plastilina o masa moldeable que quedan mucho mejor con esos materiales pero yo quise intentar con eso y funcionó también. Recuerden que cada objeto tiene una historia y merece una segunda oportunidad. ¡Anímense a restaurar y darle nueva vida a sus cosas! Gracias por acompañarme en este proceso.

I really didn't think that it would turn out well with the sponge because I've seen this type of things done with plasticine or clay, which are much better with those materials, but I wanted to try that and it worked too.
