In the mood of the season, I did a DIY of a paper Christmas tree!
Materials used;
- White and Pink cardboard paper
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Colour paints (blue, yellow and red)
- Pencil
- Brushes
- Glue
Step 1;
I cut out 5 perfect squares measuring 4x4cm, 6x6cm, 8x8cm, 10x10cm and 12x12cm respectively. It is shown below;
Step 2;
Then fold each of them into two equal parts as shown below;
Step 3;
Then I fold them again into two equal parts as shown below;
Step 4;
I open them again and fold the two sides into two triangles;
Step 5 ;
I cut out the white cardboard with dimensions, 23.35cm by 18.6cm;
Step 6;
I arrange them starting with the smallest at the apex to the widest to form the shape of a pine like this below;
Step 7;
And glue the pieces together on the white cardboard paper.
Step 8;
Then I mix these three colours of blue, red and yellow to give me a light army green colour.
Then I cut out the Star.
Step 9;
Then I paint the Star with the light army green colour, and also make big dots on the cardboard paper as shown below;
This is the final result!
