Hace poco me regalaron un ramo de flores el cual traía unas rosas, tristemente estas se fueron marchitando y no quería botarlas así sin más, es por eso que se me ocurrió sacarles provecho preparando un poco de agua de rosas.
¿Qué necesitamos?
Pétalos de rosas frescos o secos
Agua destilada o filtrada
En este caso usé solo pétalos secos y agua filtrada.
¿Cómo se prepara?
Es muy sencillo, lo primero que debemos hacer es poner los pétalos en una cacerola con el agua filtrada, dejando que la mezcla hierva a fuego lento entre 10 y 15 minutos.
Una vez haya pasado este tiempo hay que apagar el fuego y dejar reposar para que la mezcla infusione adecuadamente.
Luego, una vez la mezcla este fría, colarla y vaciarlo en un envase preferiblemente de vidrio. En mi caso encontré este envase pequeño de vidrio con gotero. Cómo de quedó bastante agua de rosas decidí almacenarlo en otros recipientes.
Recuerden esterilizar los recipientes antes de echar el agua de rosas, pueden hacerlo remojándolos en agua hirviendo.
Es recomendable guardar el agua de rosas en el refrigerador para mantenerla fresca y en buen estado por más tiempo. También se recomienda usarla por las mañanas, después de bañarte o lavarte la cara, como primer paso de tu rutina facial. También puedes usarla a lo largo del día para refrescar tu rostro.

Recently, I received a bouquet of flowers that included some roses. Sadly, these roses started to wither, and I didn't want to throw them away just like that. That's why I came up with the idea of making rose water with them.
What do we need?
- Fresh or dried rose petals
- Distilled or filtered water
In this case, I used only dried petals and filtered water.
How is it prepared?
It's very simple. The first thing we need to do is put the petals in a saucepan with the filtered water, letting the mixture simmer over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
Once this time has passed, turn off the heat and let the mixture steep properly.
Then, once the mixture is cool, strain it and pour it into a preferably glass container. In my case, I found this small glass container with a dropper. Since I had quite a bit of rose water left, I decided to store it in other containers.
Remember to sterilize the containers before pouring the rose water into them. You can do this by soaking them in boiling water.
It is recommended to store the rose water in the refrigerator to keep it fresh and in good condition for a longer time. It is also recommended to use it in the mornings, after bathing or washing your face, as the first step in your skincare routine. You can also use it throughout the day to refresh your face.
